A Very Special Episode [Completed]

Character(s): Urd, Vyers, Laharl
Content: Vyers and Laharl are manipulated by a certain goddess.
Setting: Outside Muspelheim Gate
Time: Evening, Week 7
Warnings: None.

It'd been a fairly busy week for Urd, really. Finding a new place and settling in, getting closer to Genie, dealing with Yorda and her boy. But this, this particular task was one she'd really been looking forward to. This had to do with demons, after all.

She sat on the outside of the roof of the domes of the city, unnoticed by those citizens milling so far below. After all, who would think to look up? Idly playing with a curling tendril of white hair tinged slightly lavender by the natural evening light, Urd watched the fields below carefully.

Both said they'd come...both, presumably, out of love. Or at the very least, some kind of attachment. Even demons from her world had, she supposed, some emotion to them outside of the usual greed and hatred and lust for power. How far would these two go, both so in denial of their own feelings? She didn't know but she was greatly looking forward to finding out.

Laharl meanwhile remained a good distance away. In fact, he'd probably already taken a couple extra steps back when Urd wasn't looking.

So. What now? Glancing up at the 'sky', he frowned. A good deal of time had past, and it was dark. Flonne was probably sitting around the hotel room being worried and stuff. Flonne... He should probably get back. They had to try to figure out what the heck happened to Etna, after all.

"I should go," Laharl said suddenly, not giving any details as to why, of course.

He cast a momentary glare at Urd, however, and folded his arms to his chest. "Don't ever even THINK about pulling something like this to us again, got it?"

An unstated 'Or else' was obviously there. Being shrunk wasn't something he particularly wanted to experience again.

Ah, the lady knew true style when she saw it! He supposed that earned her a couple points of redemption in his eyes, at least. There were so few who could appreciate it.

Vyers glanced over at Laharl curiously, only now noticing just how late it was getting. Just how long had they been out there? After all that excitement, some rest would be more than welcome. Perhaps he should be leaving as well.

The demon nodded. "I think so."

He didn't like that smile at all. Not one little bit. Laharl responded with a glare then turned away, turning his gaze to his father instead. He felt like he should be saying something to his Old Man, but he wasn't sure exactly what. Not to mention the fact Urd standing there made it even harder.

So, he attempted to send his father a silent message. A 'talk to you later' look. Then turned away, and dropped out of sight, having hopped down off the side of the building's roof. It would be a fair walk from here to the central Actua Are.

He watched Laharl leave with a hint of curiosity. Did he have something else he wanted to talk about was it just that Vyers had done well enough for Laharl to want to see him again? In any case, he would have to drop by sometime.

He turned to look at Urd as she spoke up, suddenly feeling a little uncomfortable. "Aha... Yes, I suppose so."

Well, he wouldn't exactly call himself desperate, but he did want to leave. ...Although her like of invading his personal space was rather strange.

He looked around the room after she had disappeared to make sure he hadn't just been seeing things, his mouth still half-open from when he was about to reply. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head before turning to leave. My, what a confusing woman!
