There was a loud bang and suddenly the painted skies of Paixao began to crack. Angels and clouds separated from the mural they had once been apart of and began to fell to the earth, crushing anyone and anything they managed to land on.

They were the first, but they certainly weren't the last.

"Ah," Laharl murmured. It was easy to forget his mother did have some magic ability of her own. Whenever he thought of his mother, it hadn't really been part of her he'd really remembered.

"Where'd he go then?" he then asked, realizing his father didn't seem to be around here at all.

"Oh....r-right." Flonne let her hands drop, releasing Gwen's hand. She glanced at Laharl when he spoke, but only briefly, turning to peer towards their surroundings for any signs of allies.

"I sent him back to the city to help everyone there, since I couldn't," she replied. "I don't imagine he'll be back anytime soon."

He better not be, anyway, otherwise she's sending him right on back, and maybe having him bring her with him, too.

"Yeah, probably not," Laharl agreed, looking back towards the city, knowing full well what a mess it was there. Briefly he contemplated going back himself, though he wasn't sure if pushing himself right now was a very good idea--he'd only just undone the seal after all.

"I... guess we should just wait for him here," Laharl said after a moments thought.
