Falling Sky [active/open]

Character(s): Anyone and everyone
Content: The domes are falling!
Setting: Entirety of Paixao
Time: Week 42
Warnings: Probably violence and injury.
Note: This will be multi-thread style. Feel free to toss your characters wherever they may be!

There was a loud bang and suddenly the painted skies of Paixao began to crack. Angels and clouds separated from the mural they had once been apart of and began to fell to the earth, crushing anyone and anything they managed to land on.

They were the first, but they certainly weren't the last.

Whether or not Zidane was heavy did not matter. Seriously - if she could carry a large man like Regal, Colette could certainly carry Zidane.

"Okay. Here!" And Colette reached out, grabbed him by the hand (with very little difficulty at all) and floated up in the air.

"Right. The exit's that way!" She pointed towards the direction of Joutenheim Gate. "Hold on tight."

Stronger than she looked, too.

Zidane laughed as he was pulled up. He always loved flying, being on airships, that sort of thing. "Colette, you're pretty cool!" he called up to her, because despite all this, he could enjoy himself for a moment.

He looked down below them and his eyes widened. Part of a building's roof had been knocked out towards someone unsuspecting. "Sorry! Impromptu rescue! Grab me back up after, alright? I trust you!" And he did trust her.

Then he twisted himself out of Colette's grip, no matter what her thoughts on it was. Not only did he like flying, he loved aerial combat; though in this case, he was fighting debris.

Zidane dived down through the air, unsheathing his matching daggers and landed a surface of the debris, using his weight to divert it some and using a dagger to slice in and break it up before he continued his descent to the ground. He finished in a duck-and-tumble and used himself to shield the person from the crash of the debris.

It didn't go bad like his last attempt, which was a relief to him. "Go on, go to safety!" he said to the person, pushing them along and then sheathing his daggers and looking up to Colette for a pick-me-up of the literal variety.

"Huh?"

Before Colette could answer, Zidane had already released himself from her grasp. She gave out a cry when he dropped below. Oh no, she had to get him back up, fast!

However, as soon as Zidane acrobated onto the ground and saved the person, she breathed a sigh of relief. He was still okay. And hey, he seemed pretty good at acrobats. Colette thought it looked rather cool although she probably now had to get him out of there. It was a huge relief that person was okay, too - and would hopefully leave the city safely.

Zidane will soon find the Chosen flying down towards him again, holding out her hand to him again. "Come on, let's go!"

He knew he could count on her. Zidane often could be a good judge of character (though sometimes that didn't always work out). He reached up to grasp her outstretched hand and they were up again.

There was still no sign of Dagger or Kuja...

But he could only hope he'd meet up with them again on the outside. Dagger would scold him if he worried to much about her and didn't help everyone around him.

"If you drop me outside the gate, we can keep moving people out through there!" He called up to her. If there was even still a gate there by the time he got there. The gates were always the first things that swam into view when Zidane arrived to the city... and now...
