Falling Sky [active/open]
Character(s): Anyone and everyone
Content: The domes are falling!
Setting: Entirety of Paixao
Time: Week 42
Warnings: Probably violence and injury.
Note: This will be multi-thread style. Feel free to toss your characters wherever they may be!
There was a loud bang and suddenly the painted skies of Paixao began to crack. Angels and clouds separated from the mural they had once been apart of and began to fell to the earth, crushing anyone and anything they managed to land on.
They were the first, but they certainly weren't the last.

OR WILL SOMEONE
The small mage did her part in destroying some of the larger pieces of falling debris. While everyone was fleeing for their lives, no one was paying attention to much else, but Shantotto was far more calm and observant. It was hard to not notice the figure atop of City Hall.
It didn't take but a few moments to cast a powerful Flare spell on the spectator.
welp City Hall area is officially not safe lolz 8D
Did they not have any manners?
Furious, he got to his feet, the lounge chair and umbrella puffing out of existence with smoke and darkness, and he threw out ripples of flame.
"WHAAAAAT?! WHO'S GOT THE NERVE?!"
It's not like Shantotto was easy to spot after all.
Indeed!

"Ohohohoho! You'll never hit me with something like that, so don't waste my time!" she snapped, hands now on her hips. "Let's just get straight to the point: did you have something to do with this crime?"
no subject
Easy-peasy.
He spun around, the darkness at his base moving smoothly with his motions.
"You know something? I would love, more than anything, to have had something to do with this 'crime' as you put it. Really wish its architect clued ol' Hades in on the game, because it could use some of my..." He fished around for the right word, and when he said it, wisps of smoke exploded from his hands and moved like serpents towards her, harmlessly, and his eyes bulged. "Finesse. Yes, that's right."

"One wonders what exactly anyone hopes to gain from this devastation," she mused aloud.

He crossed his arms and leaned back, paying her some real attention for the first time.
"Heh. Maybe they were simply bored. Idle hands, and all that." Hades could speak very well from experience. He himself was leaning towards that. He rose a brow and strode to one side. "Or maybe there's something else going on, hm? Something bigger in the... scheme of all things. And this is all just a catastrophic distraction."
He paused for a long moment, then clapped his hands together an burst out laughing.
"Who am I kidding!"
no subject
"Almost everyone is blind to one apparent fact: this is all just an elaborate prison, designed to distract!" Shantotto continued, her arms folded, a serious expression on her childish face.
"No matter how pretty or interesting the inside may be, a prison is a prison; we're not free."

And for just a moment it even looked like he might cool off. Let her "reminder" slide over him like water.
Except... Hades and water weren't the best of friends.
Orange flames crawled across his body and Hades flung out his arms. "I don't need YOU to remind me of THAT!" he yelled. "Don't you think I KNOW when I'm being caged?! I. AM. A. GOD!"
More flames accented his last words, bursting out, pushing towards the sky in a stream away from him. But it seemed like that act allowed him to settle down, the flames simmering until it was again just his colored skin, though he seethed quietly, looking at her.

"It just seemed rather like you'd forgotten, given you were sitting here, relaxing. If being trapped here is really such a problem for you, then perhaps you should try doing something a little more taxing?" she suggested, smugly.

"So I'm appreciating a show! Can't let something this good go to waste!" he growled. "I've got plans! I've got all the plans in the world!" He didn't, actually, but he wasn't going to tell her that - in fact he didn't need to explain anything to her! Why was he putting up with this?
"Look, small fry, I don't know who you think you are, but don't you go assuming anything!"
no subject
"Hohoho~! I'll 'assume' all I like, now how about you go on and take a hike?" she said, with a dismissive gesture.
