Falling Sky [active/open]
Character(s): Anyone and everyone
Content: The domes are falling!
Setting: Entirety of Paixao
Time: Week 42
Warnings: Probably violence and injury.
Note: This will be multi-thread style. Feel free to toss your characters wherever they may be!
There was a loud bang and suddenly the painted skies of Paixao began to crack. Angels and clouds separated from the mural they had once been apart of and began to fell to the earth, crushing anyone and anything they managed to land on.
They were the first, but they certainly weren't the last.

Streets of Vanaheim
She had never been so glad and happy to be out of the apartment.
The streets of Vanaheim were suddenly filled with screaming people, running away in every directions, most of them with no clear goal except not getting hit by the debris. Priere however, immediately dashed towards the gate.
Or at least she would have... if the crowd wasn't in the way... and the debris too. A chunk of the roof loosened over her, letting down a rain of smaller rocks and debris over a large section of the street. She twirled her baton out, sending out baton doubles and wind over her head, destroying some of the pieces and pushing some more back.
For now at least.

The Nobody pushed through the panicked masses in an attempt to find somewhere less busy. He could easily leave the collapsing dome, but the crowd's constant jostling was making it difficult to concentrate for even that brief moment he needed. The falling chunks of stone only made things worse, adding to the chaos.
Something exploded over his head and Marluxia brought up an arm to shield himself from the raining debris. The pieces were smaller than he expected and he quickly began to search for the source. It didn't take long for him to notice the pink-haired girl amongst the sea of blonds, and he began to make his way toward her.
If she was capable enough to take out some of the falling rocks, she could easily take care of at least one distraction.

If that was the worst that could happen, it wasn't too bad.
That being said, with the roof collapsing right over them, taking this path to the gate would probably be a bad idea. Some of the natives were already rushing past her, not noticing what was going on right above them. She tried shouting at them to stop, but her words fell on deaf ears. Damn it...
Hopefully, the one other person here who wasn't a native wouldn't go rushing in there. "Tell me you know another way out of here!" She cried out to the person coming near her.

"I know of one." Marluxia thrust his hand out, a corridor of darkness to the Elysian Fields bubbling into existence. "If you are willing to follow."
If she wasn't, she could deal with the consequences herself.

Anyone, trained or not, would have felt the pure darkness that came from that portal. And this coming from someone who was used to jumping into dark energy created portal to go to the Netherworld back home. This was just too much...
"What... are you?" She asked, backing away from that portal. There was no way she would ever go in there, it was practically dripping with darkness. This was way too dangerous. She'd never...
And that's when the piece of the dome finally gave in and made its way down.
... she practically dove into that dark portal.

Instead Marluxia stared in the direction of the domes, frowning. This... was unexpected, and he doubted the Organization was behind any of this. It wasn't like them to destroy the very cage they created. And if they did, he wondered just how desperate Xemnas had become.
If this was the fault of one of the people dragged into this castle...
This was one wildcard Marluxia wasn't sure he liked having around.

Still, it was better than being crushed.
She turned around to face her "saviour", her face betraying nothing of what she was feeling right now, well intended on asking him about what just happened... until she saw what was truly happening to the domes.
It was horrible! How many people were going to die from this? How many were already crushed?!
"Hey, why did you close that portal!? There were people all over the place!"
no subject
He gestured to the crumbling domes. "If you want to return to save who you can, I have no plans of stopping you." Marluxia didn't see much point in it, but he would rather not burn any more bridges than others had for him.
no subject
And anyway... even if they didn't enter, what's the problem with just leaving one portal opened? In fact, now that she thought about it... "If you don't care about people getting killed in that... then why get me out?!"
no subject
He looked her straight in the eye. "Thus the... people here would rather die than step foot within. They are simple and see the world solely in black and white--light and dark. They are the light. The Darkness is a threat. And the light must spread to the ends of all worlds. They are no different than the creatures who wander these fields."
no subject
"These people, they're made of light? Only light? All of them? Shouldn't they be dead or something?!" She asked, not sure if she could really believe it. These people were supposed to be "light"? Why would anyone acting the way they did towards-- wait! No... that made sense, light tends to have a stick up its ass after all.
"... and does that make you a 'threat' then?"
