Tifa Lockhart 003 | Dearest | OPEN

Character(s): Tifa Lockhart, anybody else.
Content: The grand opening of Seventh Heaven!
Setting: Seventh Heaven [G7]
Time: Daytime, week 17.
Warnings: None.

[ooc: This will be treated like a party thread; patrons may feel free to make their own thread and the employees may tag accordingly. Time skips and all that don't really matter, etc etc etc. Just have fun with it :) Tee hee. If anything, consider this a free pass at giving somebody an excuse to pass the next activity check.]

There, all set! Tifa did what she could with the place in such a relatively short amount of time and an excessively short amount of manpower, but it looked presentable and she posted on the message board for everyone to see. Couldn't be that hard, could it? A slightly uncomfortable expression on her face was present for a moment, but first and foremost today she was a businesswoman; she would smile and greet her patrons, and get to know everyone as well as she possibly could.

With that, she put on the OPEN sign on display and awaited for her customers.

Shoaneb had read the announcement made on the network by someone named Tifa Lockheart. A restaurant opening... what a curious thing. She wondered how long this person had lived in the city. As far as Shoaneb had observed, the natives of this city didn't seem to use the network all that much despite their apparent admiration of the journal devices.

Opening a business wasn't something to do unless one thought that they would be in this place for a long time, was it? Of course, the economy of Paixao seemed merely to be based of anything that shone made opening a business... then again, Shoaneb realized, she didn't know very much about things like that.

So it wasn't with an interest in food that Shoaneb headed through the city, not bothering with an umbrella despite the rain. She wrung out the hem of her cloak when she stepped inside, taking in the restaurant with an expression of great interest on the lower half of her face.

[identity profile] therightcurves.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Megara poked her head out from the back room at the sound of someone entering. There was only one person she saw in the city who looked like this woman. Smiling slightly, she entered the main room proper. "Shoaneb?" she called quietly, walking to meet her at the entrance as she wiped her hands on the apron she'd tied around her waist.

[identity profile] force-sight-gal.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Shoaneb looked up at the sound of footsteps. "Megara? I didn't realize you were working here," she said, returning the smile with a polite one of her own. She still wasn't quite sure what sort of person the woman was, but Shoaneb didn't see any ill intentions in her.

"Do you think this place will be successful?" she asked.

[identity profile] therightcurves.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, yeah, I'm a working girl now." Meg stopped in her tracks, frowning. "Uh...probably shoulda rephrased that...."

She resumed walking to Shoaneb, arms folded. "But, yeah, the boss lady is hoping so. Us being stuck her and all, it can't be a bad idea to have a little haven. The other places are nice, don't get me wrong, but the native of this place give me the creeps."

Tilting her head, Meg arched an eyebrow. "You want a table? A bite to eat?"

[identity profile] cetra-soul.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Aeris paused when she saw the name of the bar before she pushed the doors open to step inside. It had been quite a while since Tifa had seen her, even though she'd seen Cloud recently and she offered a faint smile before stepping further into the darkened main room of the bar.

"I don't suppose you'd be willing to hire someone?" She smiled faintly as she stopped in front of the bar.

[identity profile] cetra-soul.livejournal.com 2010-02-03 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
Aeris wasn't laughing...really she wasn't and she smiled at Tifa for a moment. "It's good to see you again, Tifa. I saw the name of the bar and thought it might mean you were here. Where would you like me to start?" She probably should have contacted her beforehand somehow but the expression on Tifa's face had been priceless. Not that Aeris would ever say that out loud.

"How have you been?"

[identity profile] cetra-soul.livejournal.com 2010-02-03 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm just glad I was able to help. It was hard not being able to do anything for all of you personally but I tried my best to help Cloud and then .." Aeris settled on a stool. "Zack and I both did what we could. I'm just glad that.. all of it is over now. Is anyone else here aside from you?"

Lenne hadn't mentioned her recent whereabouts to anyone, and was hoping to keep it that way. She tried to keep busy, hoping to distract herself from the strange mood she'd been in since her.... well, that. She had an understated joy about everything, and it was taking some getting used to, as if her body was actually fighting it. But that was better left ignored, that day.

Tifa seemed excited about the grand opening of her bar, and Lenne was happy for her. Lenne was the entertainment, and she had no doubt she'd be able to summon up the enthusiasm to give a memorable performance, worthy of the host of the establishment. She couldn't help but feel hopeful.

She kept to herself, choosing to get ready, and remain, in one of the back rooms. Once the place filled up a bit she'd see about doing a few songs, test the crowd a bit. Until then, she was content to function behind the scenes. If Tifa were to call on her to wait tables, she would be more than glad to.

[identity profile] mystorydammit.livejournal.com 2010-02-03 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Deciding to check out the new restaurant advertised, Tidus managed to catch the tail end of a song Lenne sang. Giving her a standing ovation (as he was already standing), she gave her a hopeful look with a grin.

"How've you been doing?"

[identity profile] lyricalsummons.livejournal.com 2010-02-03 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hey, Tidus!" Lenne greeted him with a wide grin, she was very happy to see him here, it felt like it had been such a long time since their first encounter, and well... she'd missed him, if that was possible. She made her way over to him, deciding to take a break for now.

"I've... I've been doing alright, I guess," she laughed, hoping to hide her initial hesitation.

"Been keeping busy?" she asked with another flash of a grin.

[identity profile] mystorydammit.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Stuff here and there." Tidus scratched the back of his head. "Dad's in town, apparently, and we still don't talk. Much." he shrugged. "The talent show's still in the planning stages; after things calm down with that castle thing people have been exploring, I figure that would be a good time to move it in." He had to admit, he was in no particular need to leave this place, all things considered.

"... Say, Lenne, why aren't you trying to get out of this place, like everyone else?"

Hey she doesn't know much about this place and completely lost to its surroundings, though finding this place was a good idea. At least there were people around. As much as she needed to find her friends, she couldn't find them. She wondered where they were and what they were up to. At the same time, she wanted some more answers.

So far that creepy guy in the cloak was her only answer. Typical. She wasn't gong to find him any day soon.

[identity profile] kanjecture.livejournal.com 2010-02-03 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Looking around, Kanji was slightly surprised at the raven-haired girl who seemed to stick out for some reason. And besides, the other patron of the restaurant was a creepy cloaked guy. Cloaks were bad news, right? Approaching Ishtar, he wasn't entirely sure what to say.

Then he decided to go for it.

"There's a loose thread on your top. You should probably get that fixed."

Ishtar needed some decent clothing to wear for the time being, but unfortunately, she was stuck with her dress. Guess, there was no getting around that. Though, as she looked around, she noticed a guy approaching her, strangely, enough he sort of reminded her of Vord. Except the peachy skin , Vord had a rather dark tone to him, and taller... like a giant. Though, this guy was pretty much almost the same.

She looked down at her dress. There's a loose thread on her top? She didn't notice that and what do you know Kanji, she totally just noticed it because you pointed it out, "OH...I do have a loose thread... I guess I could always ask the maids to uh-- wait... this isn't.." crap. She almost face palmed. Getting too used to the whole princess thing, it's been a bad habit to blurt random things like that aloud.

[identity profile] kanjecture.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
"I could fix it for you if you'd like." Kanji blurted out, almost to his own surprise. Approaching women was hard; there were all of these rules and shit he wasn't familiar with. Guys were a lot easier, seriously. But he saw that thread, and before he knew it he whipped out his mini-portable sewing kit. "It won't take long."

lol XD

He had been cooped up inside for too long. Usually he would wander the city, no particular destination in mind. It was an activity to keep him moving, nothing more. But the ad on the journal system caught his attention, and a change of pace didn't sound so bad.

Auron entered the restaurant and immediately headed for a table in one of the corners, back to the wall. As he sat he took off his sunglasses--more of a hinderance in the dim lighting than anything else--and waited for someone to come by. A drink didn't sound that bad.

[identity profile] therightcurves.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Meg glanced up from tallying her orders. Tall, old and brooding? No problem. In fact, she could tell from a glance that this guy would be her favorite customer of the day: quiet, uninterested and hopefully, to the point.

"Hey," she greeted him as she approached, placing down a menu while flipping open her notebook to a fresh page. "What can I get for you?"

[identity profile] kotetsu-blade.livejournal.com 2010-02-08 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Auron glanced up as the waitress approached. Not a citizen. Looked as though this place was completely "visitor-owned." He would have considered the dress odd if it weren't for the variety of clothing he had seen in this place already.

Doubtful this place would have any Spiran nog. None of the other places here had it, which wasn't very surprising. He recalled one of the drinks he had had at the bar in town. "Scotch," he decided. "What's the price?"

[identity profile] therightcurves.livejournal.com 2010-02-08 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Price? That was a very good question, actually. How did the economy work with those stupid fake flowers and leaves? Was 20 berries the equal worth to a leaf? 10 leaves to a flower? Meg blinked and glanced around for Tifa and, finding she was occupied with someone at the bar, decided to wing it.

"Uh, five...leaves?" she guessed, glancing back at Auron with what she hoped was a confident smile.

[identity profile] masterfulflames.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
He was here for one reason, and one reason alone. He knew that a certain Nutmeg of his was working at this quaint little establishment, and it was right about time for them to catch up a bit face to face. And hey, he wanted to see what sort of friends she was making. See if he approved or not - if they didn't meet his standards, he could send 'em flying!

After all, who knew Meg better than the one who owned her soul?

It was just so fitting.

And that was why Hades casually found himself entering Seventh Heaven, a grin on his face, and an eye for one particular woman with the right curves.

[identity profile] therightcurves.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
She could have sworn she felt him before she saw him. That indescribable crawling sensation over her flesh, the inexorable tug of her soul. Meg dropped the tray she'd been carrying, the shatter of glass piercing the peaceful murmured hush of the restaurant. She stood in the center of the room, jaw tight, eyes narrowed at the doorway.

Then she knelt quickly, picking up the broken tableware, doing her damnedest to ignore him, to pretend nothing was wrong. If the people here knew, if they found out her connection to him, they'd probably burn her at the stake.

/faaaaails

[identity profile] masterfulflames.livejournal.com 2010-03-15 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
That horrendous crawling sense Hades did to just about everyone, and those he didn't? Well, he would just have to work harder around them. The noise caught his attention and he chuckles. Oh, she could act at the best of times, when he needed her to. Now she was a bundle of nerves, and he couldn't just leave her dealing with them all on her lonesome?

So Hades glides across the tavern floor, accompanied with a large, toothy grin, and he bends down to help her pick up the fallen tableware.

"You look like you need some help here, miss."

yay hades tag~

Who was he trying to fool? No one, knowing him. She fixed her face into the coldest sneer she could muster and snatched a bowl from his hands. "Hey, that's real chivalrous of you, but I think I've got it covered," she replied. In a lower voice, she hissed, "What are you even doing here? Is it too much to ask you to be subtle?"
