Content: The grand opening of Seventh Heaven!
Setting: Seventh Heaven [G7]
Time: Daytime, week 17.

[ooc: This will be treated like a party thread; patrons may feel free to make their own thread and the employees may tag accordingly. Time skips and all that don't really matter, etc etc etc. Just have fun with it :) Tee hee. If anything, consider this a free pass at giving somebody an excuse to pass the next activity check.]

There, all set! Tifa did what she could with the place in such a relatively short amount of time and an excessively short amount of manpower, but it looked presentable and she posted on the message board for everyone to see. Couldn't be that hard, could it? A slightly uncomfortable expression on her face was present for a moment, but first and foremost today she was a businesswoman; she would smile and greet her patrons, and get to know everyone as well as she possibly could.

With that, she put on the OPEN sign on display and awaited for her customers.

Tifa nodded. "I met Reno. He said that a few of us are here, including Cloud and Cid, though I haven't seen either of them." She sighed. "I almost think that Cloud's been avoiding me; I was halfway hoping that opening up this bar would somehow draw him and the others here, too." It was a bit silly, but it kept Tifa busy.

"We can always go find him and make him stop being so foolish again." Aeris gave her a brief grin. "I'll bring the rope if you're interested." She paused for a moment. "I thought he'd gotten over that silly blaming himself for everything mode."

Tifa had to laugh at the rather straightforward approach that Aerith proposed. After a residual giggle took place, Tifa nodded. "However, I don't want him crawling back even further into thatg shell of his, you know? You know how sensitive he is; if we push him too hard, he might become lost forever." Her expression turned a bit more serious. "And it will be even harder if I don't know which time he comes from."

"Tifa, it will work out and besides, we just have to keep him from letting himself get back into that mode. I think if anyone can do it, we should be able to." She moved around behind the bar to give the other woman a quick hug. "And if we can get him into a dress into the process..."

Tifa missed Aerith's unyielding optimism; where did she find the strength, even beyond death, to keep on a sincere and genuine smile? Tifa had to laugh at herself, being almost as moody as Cloud usually was. With a nod, Tifa's smile this time was genuine. "You're right; I'm totally for that, Aerith." She was growing a bit more enthusiastic. It's as if Aerith's confidence was contagious enough to infect Tifa as well.

Returning the hug, Tifa looked around. "Have you found a place to stay with yet, Aerith? I have extra rooms upstairs, if you'd like."

Aerith grinned at her this time. "That's more like it, Tifa. You need to smile more. " The reproof was tempered with a laugh and she leaned over the counter. "A room would be good and I'm completely serious about working here if you need the help. How long have you been here?" She knew Tifa had a tendency to worry too much and if she could help with that even a little, she would.

"Come to think of it, we've never had the chance to cook during our adventure, right? What do you think you can do? Meg's a waitress, and she's pretty friendly. Lenne's our live entertainment; it's easy to get along with her. I could always use your hands around here, though; whatever works." Tifa mused aloud. Come to think of it, they didn't get to know each other very well during their journey together... like, what were their favorite things to do, their hobbies, what their childhoods were like, that sort of thing.

There would be time to do all of that, now.

"I've never worked in a bar before so you tell me what needs to be done and I'll try it? Most of my spare money was made selling flowers back in Midgar before.. " She let the rest of the sentence remain unfinished. "And you can tell me more about this place and what goes on here?"

Oh, right! Tifa nearly forgot that Aerith was new here. Tifa went ahead and explained everything she knew about Paixao, how it seemed to be a floor inside of a giant castle, how people from all sorts of worlds came together from different times between life and death, and how there seemed to be a City Hall with villains and an Organization XIII that seemed to be causing trouble everywhere it went. "I know it's a lot to take in..." Tifa attempted to soften the onslaught of information. "I don't understand all of it, either."

Aeris listened quietly and asked the occasional question before nodding and filing away the information that seemed useful. "It's a little confusing." She nodded after a second. "but I get the general idea. So this Organization is something to keep an eye on?"

[ooc: btw, I know you're choosing the "Aeris" spelling over the "Aerith" spelling, and I'm really sorry, but I'm just really used to using the "th" now. I'll try to fix it from now on, but I make no guarantees since... even trying to type out "Aeris", I end up with the other spelling. I hope you aren't too offended.]

Tifa nodded; Aeris definitely had the picture, now. "I haven't encountered them myself, but trying to open up this restaurant gives me a lot of connections." She explained; if there was something she was okay at, it was gathering word-of-mouth information.

Suddenly, an idea came to Tifa. "Say, this place could use some sprucing up. How about we go look at flowers later, for decoration?"

[ooc: I'm fine with either honestly. It's mostly if the other Aerith is in a thread that I thought it'd be easier to differentiate which one was meant. As I'm the only one here,whatever works]

Aeris nodded slightly and slipped off the stool giving the place a brief once over. "We can do that, and you can show me around a little more while we're out." She smiled again.
