New Hope Returns [Open]

Content: Urd's relief shop once again opens to the public.
Setting: Across the street from The Cheap Prayer.
Time: Week 39, all day!

Urd sat in mid-air, floating casually as she watched the wide shop window in thought. Though she'd opened up the shop for all the right reasons -- new people needing guidance, meeting those with magical skill to help keep Shantotto's curse at bay -- she had to admit it was also a way to hide from everything going on in her personal life. She needed a retreat from Genie and Eden and all the problems therein. She wasn't hiding...she was just...taking a breather.

Smiling wryly, she sighed and closed her eyes. Hopefully people would come by, or this whole attempt to get her mind off her troubles would hardly work.

Well, as good to know that he wasn't completely useless, it still doesn't change much. After all if the curse gets worse there's going to be nothing any strong fighter can do.

"But..." that childish nature was even more apparent now, "how are you gonna fix it then?"

"I'll keep trying," she said simply, straightening and putting her hands on her hips. She looked at the outline of the city on the horizon, far on the other end of the field. "If this method didn't work, something else is bound to. Maybe I'll try a more alchemical approach. The only sure way to lose is to give up, after all." She turned her gaze back to Emizel, smile widening.

"And I really hate to lose."

The expression was a mixed between surprise and amaze. Perhaps a little bit of embarrassment tied in as well.

Loosing only meant giving up, huh. Then he should never give up no matter how dark things were right now either.

"You don't need any help?"

Urd began walking back to the city. "Not in this, at least not from you. But that doesn't mean you won't be able to help me down the line." She picked one of the white, faintly glowing flowers in the field as she walked, lifting it to her nose. "Can I count on you to help me out when the time comes? You have a lot of power, Emizel. That'll definitely come in hand sooner or later."

He followed right behind her. Kind of confused why she doesn't just bother teleporting back, it would take a whole lot faster than this.

"Sure, I'd be more than happy to beat around the ones responsible for bringing us here." As well as whatever else that got in the way, but that probably could go without saying.
