A Very Special Episode [Completed]

Character(s): Urd, Vyers, Laharl
Content: Vyers and Laharl are manipulated by a certain goddess.
Setting: Outside Muspelheim Gate
Time: Evening, Week 7
Warnings: None.

It'd been a fairly busy week for Urd, really. Finding a new place and settling in, getting closer to Genie, dealing with Yorda and her boy. But this, this particular task was one she'd really been looking forward to. This had to do with demons, after all.

She sat on the outside of the roof of the domes of the city, unnoticed by those citizens milling so far below. After all, who would think to look up? Idly playing with a curling tendril of white hair tinged slightly lavender by the natural evening light, Urd watched the fields below carefully.

Both said they'd come...both, presumably, out of love. Or at the very least, some kind of attachment. Even demons from her world had, she supposed, some emotion to them outside of the usual greed and hatred and lust for power. How far would these two go, both so in denial of their own feelings? She didn't know but she was greatly looking forward to finding out.

Vyers was rather surprised to be honest. He had expected something a little more vocal than that. ...A lot more vocal than that. Laharl must have been more hurt than he had let on. "Of course not! But it allows us to get back faster, does it not? And the sooner we arrive, the sooner this entire situation can be taken care of," he explained. "And the sooner we can speak with the person who put us in this situation in the first place."

Though now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure what he would tell the goddess (if it was indeed her who had plotted all of this). On one hand, he couldn't stand the trickery of it all, but on the other hand, he actually was becoming closer to his son again, and that... that he was thankful for.
