A Very Special Episode [Completed]

Character(s): Urd, Vyers, Laharl
Content: Vyers and Laharl are manipulated by a certain goddess.
Setting: Outside Muspelheim Gate
Time: Evening, Week 7
Warnings: None.

It'd been a fairly busy week for Urd, really. Finding a new place and settling in, getting closer to Genie, dealing with Yorda and her boy. But this, this particular task was one she'd really been looking forward to. This had to do with demons, after all.

She sat on the outside of the roof of the domes of the city, unnoticed by those citizens milling so far below. After all, who would think to look up? Idly playing with a curling tendril of white hair tinged slightly lavender by the natural evening light, Urd watched the fields below carefully.

Both said they'd come...both, presumably, out of love. Or at the very least, some kind of attachment. Even demons from her world had, she supposed, some emotion to them outside of the usual greed and hatred and lust for power. How far would these two go, both so in denial of their own feelings? She didn't know but she was greatly looking forward to finding out.

Vyers whipped his head back toward Laharl. "ME?! I did nothing!" he snapped back. "Why in the world would I do this to myself?!" Why did he always have to get blamed for everything? There were things out there that were simply out of his control, after all! He turned his back to the boy, trying to look through the grass. "We should return to the city," he decided, his annoyance showing through in his voice. "Hopefully someone in there knows how to fix this."

Why did the grass have to be so tall? He only hoped all of this wouldn't last very long. There was so little he could do while he was in such a state, not to mention how embarrassing it would be if someone saw him like this. He shuddered at the thought. If only he could get a clear view...

The eyes in the darkness went unnoticed, Vyers being too busy in his frustrated attempts to tear down the grass.
