A Very Special Episode [Completed]

Character(s): Urd, Vyers, Laharl
Content: Vyers and Laharl are manipulated by a certain goddess.
Setting: Outside Muspelheim Gate
Time: Evening, Week 7
Warnings: None.

It'd been a fairly busy week for Urd, really. Finding a new place and settling in, getting closer to Genie, dealing with Yorda and her boy. But this, this particular task was one she'd really been looking forward to. This had to do with demons, after all.

She sat on the outside of the roof of the domes of the city, unnoticed by those citizens milling so far below. After all, who would think to look up? Idly playing with a curling tendril of white hair tinged slightly lavender by the natural evening light, Urd watched the fields below carefully.

Both said they'd come...both, presumably, out of love. Or at the very least, some kind of attachment. Even demons from her world had, she supposed, some emotion to them outside of the usual greed and hatred and lust for power. How far would these two go, both so in denial of their own feelings? She didn't know but she was greatly looking forward to finding out.

So this woman had a solution, did she? The other woman, Donna, had had quite a bit of advice for him. It was... still all very difficult to sort through, to be honest, and he needed more time to think on it, but the other woman, the one who spoke so much of love, had offered her own solution. And yet... something told him that this wasn't exactly the best of ideas. But what other option did he have?

As he approached the designated meeting spot, he could only curse that this option had him face-to-face with Laharl.

Not that that was a bad thing, of course. He did want to see his son, but he had yet to figure out what he was going to say! And he had to wonder just how the woman had brought Laharl here in the first place. Had... could he have agreed to come, too? Hm... No, that almost didn't seem like him.

Ah... how he wanted to leave the area. It would only be a temporary retreat, of course, only long enough to gather his thoughts and return. It would be simple, would it not? Laharl obviously hadn't noticed him yet. He could be gone in an instant with none-the-wiser. And yet...

And yet he was there now and the easy option suddenly didn't seem that easy. Even if it almost made the hard option even harder.
