Rain and Lightning and Sin [active; open]
Character(s): Sin and anyone who wants in on the fight
Content: Boss fight! In the rain!
Setting: L7
Time: early evening, while it's still raining
Warnings: Destruction, mayhem, and violence. And a hole in the domes.
In the past few weeks, the city had proven itself up to the task of eliminating the lesser Sinspawn, but it was time to show them the real power of Sin. It was time to start bringing death to this world and those who inhabited it. Whether they belonged here was of no importance. They suffered here just as they would suffer wherever they had come from; where they were released from their suffering was of no real importance. All he needed to do was attract a bit of attention.
Which Sin itself was admittedly doing, by virtue of being a large electricity based creature, but the rumbling of thunder above the domes had given him an idea. After all, Sin was providing a far amount of destruction already, and surely no one would mind if he caused just a little bit more. And it was a matter of little effort to cast a simple Flare at the dome overhead, shattering a fair amount of it to pieces. With luck the explosion would serve as a way to get people to head this direction and in the meantime Sin could terrorize and kill the general populace.
[Note: Since giant boss fight is likely to be giant, it'll probably be best to split this up into a bunch of different threads. Thread hopping is, of course, not only okay but encouraged, so hop in and have fun!]

Sephiroth didn't figure he would be the best choice for that duty. He had enough power to last one-on-one against the shell itself; the others could finish off Seymour. He, maybe a few others, could keep the shell busy in the meantime.
And if the glow surrounding him now was any indication, things were about to get veeeeeeeery interesting. Being struck twice by what was supposed to be the ultimate attack magic was having its effect; despite his injuries, Sephiroth was now well and truly pissed off.
The image of a clock face formed in front of him, golden and spinning, faster, faster. Haste. Not that he needed it, but hey, every little bit...
The whole world seemed to be moving in slow motion. Dropping almost to his knee, Sephiroth wound up for a leap that would carry him completely out of the dome. The ground cratered around him as he pushed gravity away, and his body more or less ceased to exist on the physical plane for about half a second. A neat trick, if you can manage to move fast enough to do it.
When he was visible again, Sephiroth had a wing. A real, flesh-and-bone-and-feather -wing-. He'd have looked downright angelic if it weren't for the look of murderous intent in his eyes.
Masamune was nowhere to be seen; his empty hands were outstretched to either side, and surrounded by raw magical energy. In the air below, roughly ten feet beneath him, a vast projection of what looked like mathematical formulae, alchemic symbols, and arcane sigils were arranged around a great central circle. In short? He was floating above the -biggest- goddamn magic circle this side of Midgar.
And it was -opening-.
Six wings of light formed behind Sephiroth, forming the full seraphic set of seven; plunging through the opening in the circle, Sephiroth was a meteor of energy unto himself, surrounded in a corona of pure, raw power. Power that, in roughly one tenth of a second, would be slammed into Sin's armor shell like a Mack truck full of nuclear warhead-toting monkeys.
He had only used the Fallen Angel once before, and for good reason. When he landed roughly where he had been to begin with, he was wingless again, and he had his sword back, but there was no doubting that he was out of the fight, as far as the big guns went. He'd be damn lucky if he wasn't out of mana for a week, without the aid of an ether or elixir.
OOC Note: Okay, here's the deal. In FF VII, there are four levels of Flare, all but one of them used by the various Bahamut summons. Flare, Megaflare, Gigaflare, and Terraflare, respectively. On that scale, this attack is the rough equivalent of Megaflare - a non-elemental, unblockable magic attack whose damage, being a single hit, is capped at 9999.
