Foundation Day Festival: At the Entrance
Character(s): everyone entering the festival by the gate
Content: weapons confiscation, greetings, etc.
Setting: Joco da Crianca Fairgrounds, entrance
Time: all day~
Warnings: Multithreaded posting format (please include time of day and sub-location in your comment's subject line)
For the festival, the Jogo da Crianca fairgrounds have been ringed by a modular eight-foot-tall iron-bar fence. Signs all around the vicinity point to the entrance, which is the only large gap in the fence. Because this is Paixao, there is a line to get in, but it moves quickly.
At the front of the line is a small security team; as people enter, they are asked to check their weapons or dangerous items with festival staff. Once unarmed, they are given a receipt to pick up their items on the way out, as well as one complimentary raffle ticket, and are allowed to proceed into the fairgrounds.
Just inside the entrance are two tents, one labeled "SECURITY / LOST AND FOUND," and the other labeled with "FIRST AID" and a large red cross.

Re: Watching the Line - 1:30pm
As he thought, he spotted a man in line with a sword who also stepped away from it and appeared in thought. It seemed the rurouni wasn't the only one reluctant to hand over his weapon.
He watched things for a moment, then slowly approached the other feeling curious of perhaps what someone else though. He gave Auron a nod of greeting as he then spoke up, "Sessha is rather glad to see he is not the only one feeling wary of this festival, de gozaru."
Re: Watching the Line - 1:30pm
He looked over when he was addressed. The man had an odd way of speaking, but it was a fact that was ignored as soon as it was noticed. Auron was never one to dwell on such small details. "It isn't so much the festival as this place," he admitted, immediately regretting it and hoping that either the man would understand what he meant or just not read too far into it. Auron would have to remember to watch his tongue a bit more closely.
Re: Watching the Line - 1:30pm
If this had been home, he would be possibly more willing to part with his sakabatou, but here he didn't trust anything. How could you when someone had vanished in your very midst? The idea of parting with his best means of defense was not something he liked to consider and he'd rather avoid if given the choice.
"Sessha understands what you mean all too well," he added, quietly.
