Arrival of the Great Uzumaki Naruto. [Completed]
Character(s): Uzumaki Naruto, Garnet 'Dagger' Til Alexandros, Yoda, Daxter and eventually Uchiha Itachi.
Content: Naruto arrives in Paixao, meets some new faces and a familiar one but then people start forgetting again!
Setting: Vanaheim Gate
Time: Afternoon.
Warnings: None.
"Huh?" Blue eyes blinked owlishly at the sudden change of scenery. Naruto's mind not exactly comprehending the situation quite just yet.
One moment he was standing in the hall before the current Hokage's office, having received news of Orochimaru's death, and now he was suddenly standing in a weird white city with likes of which he had never seen before. What kind of genjutsu was that?
"Tsunade-baachan?" he questioned the air as he turned around, perhaps expecting to see the door to the office although he wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to expect, instead he was staring at a huge gate made out of fake trees. Pretty...but it did not help his situation in the slightest.
He took a moment to analyze the situation, like a true shinobi would. Although it didn't last long for after 5 minutes he already threw his hands up in frustration. "What is this place!?"
If it was a genjutsu, for what purpose? Could it be Akatsuki? No...he concluded, it was no genjutsu. He couldn't sense any hostility or chakra around which also meant Tsunade wasn't there...or rather, he was no longer in Konohagakure. (And no matter how many times he had tried dispelling it, it just wouldn't work and his efforts were naught but a waste of chakra) But how did he get here? He turned around again to take a look at the city once more, noticing a booth not far off.
"Great! I can gather some information there." he nodded to himself and quickly made his way over to the booth. Before he could even open his mouth to speak to the man he had something shoved into his hands.
"Welcome to Paixao! What's your name, sir?"
"Uzumaki Naruto..?" he replied, looking more confused then ever as he watched the man write his name down. "Right then. Please enjoy your stay!" He couldn't even question the man further as he got shoved into the city as soon the sentence was finished.
"What the-?" He wanted to protest but the man had already busied himself with another person. "What was that for?" He muttered, mainly to himself, as he glanced at the stuff that he was now holding. A brochure and a...rectangular shaped thing.
"Pie-show?" He read out loud as he started making his way over to a bench and plopped down. What kind of name was that? First things first, he had to figure out what this place exactly was, how he got here and how to get out (he really needed to find Sasuke or at least Itachi, as Sasuke would most likely go after him now that Orochimaru was out of the way). So he eagerly read through the brochure as fast as he could.
"Journal, huh?" he stared at the rectangular thing (hey, at least it was orange!) after he finished reading. Flipping it open, he took a moment to stare at all the buttons before pressing them randomly. He really had no idea how it was supposed to work so he just sat there muttering to himself trying his best not to lose his temper.

She'd entered into the city, the tiny journal in her hand, and confusion in her mind. She wasn't sure what she should think, or what sort of help she could gather. Her enquiries to the cloaked man had been met with silence until he had left.
She frowned-- only distracted by the muttering of a boy behind her. She turned to face him. He'd been playing with the journal, something she hadn't bothered to touch. Not yet. She probably should have looked into it... He looked like he might have been able to help her. Or at least, he looked to be in a similar situation.
Like minds could help, couldn't they?
"Ah, pardon my interruption. But you are also new to this Paixao, correct?" She had an increasing hunch that this place should not exist.

A short ways off, a human in a bright orange jumpsuit seemed to be toying with his own orange journal. His blond hair and blue eyes didn’t make him stand out much but his clothes were vastly different from the surrounding people, who all seemed content to ignore the diminutive Jedi. But the clothes were not what made the boy stand out so much. No, it was the energy he gave out in the Force. An energy that made him stand out like a candle in a dark lit room amongst all of these people. But there was something beneath all of this energy. A darkness that felt most… …unpleasant. It was strange, almost as if he were sensing two people in the Force. He recalled a case from around thirty standard years ago when one of his students had become a schizophrenic and one of her personalities had fallen to the dark side. She had murdered several people, including her master at the time, all the while hunting down their murderer, not realizing the horrible truth. Could something similar be the case with this boy? He didn’t feel like he was Force-sensitive yet he was strong in the Force. The combination was most confusing.
Slowly he made his way over to the boy, leaning heavily on his gimer stick and playing the defenseless old man to hilt. He knew he’d probably come across as a little crazy but that would only make the boy open up a little more. It had worked with Luke after all. He stopped a few feet away from the boy and looking at him in an inquiring manner greeted him.
“Hello.”
(ooc: yes there actually WAS a schizophrenic Jedi. ^-_-^)

Putting his journal down in his lap (his thumb hitting a button in the progress, making it give a click sound and stop 'recording' and causing Naruto to stare at it weirdly for a moment longer) he looked up to see a pretty girl standing in front of him.
"Yes, I am!" he nodded cheerfully, despite the foul mood he was in. The girl somewhat reminded him of Neji in a way but he could tell she was no ninja considering the lack of headband and he briefly wondered if there actually were any others ninjas like him out there in the city. However, to have someone else seemingly share his confusion made him feel somewhat better, ninja or not.
He could hear another voice nearby and turned his head to look. His gaze landing on a somewhat...weird looking old man. Although Naruto had dealt with quite some weird nins in his ninja carrier so he wasn't fazed in the slightest at the odd appearance of the old man.
"Hello jichan." he replied politely. Did he really attract that much attention? He didn't look all that different from the locals...save for the brightness of his clothes maybe. Or was it the fact that he had been muttering to himself that had made him get noticed? Well, either way it didn't matter too much. Maybe these two could help him out a bit. He certainly didn't mind a bit of company right now.

By no means completely impersonal this time, however. "Good afternoon, sir," Garnet said, by way of greeting to the other, a small curtsy, with her cloak acting as a make-shift dress. She was, if nothing else, a lady. And ladies were polite, even in dire circumstances.
"Oh, pardon me again," she said, interrupting whoever was next to speak. "Could either of you tell me of your homelands? I have... witnessed a strange occurrence, unlike any I have seen in my life. Perhaps I am an unwelcome stranger here, but, I fear there is more to this than mere happenstance.."
Her perceptions were leaning towards the second. They shouldn't be here, and that begged the question of why they were pulled from their homelands.
no subject
Confusion rolled off of these two. More from the girl than the boy, it was almost as though he had seen things similar to this before. He offered a small comforting smile to the girl. He couldn’t tell her that he was from Dagobah, just incase of an Imperial presence arrived here. “From Coruscant I am coming, although hear of it you have I very much doubt. Read the posts on the journals have you?” He indicated his own green journal as he asked.
no subject
"There's no need to keep apologizing." Naruto didn't understand why she kept saying 'pardon me', in a conversation it was only normal to speak up, right?
"I'm from the village of Konoha in the Leaf Country." He said proudly and something the girl had said piqued his interest. Tilting his head to one side he gave the girl his 'curious fox look'.
"A strange occurrence?" he echoed. It wasn't like he felt very welcome here either but then again he was used to the feeling.
"Oh, I'm Uzumaki Naruto by the way!"
The mention of the journals made Naruto's attention snap back to the ol' man, ignoring the strange way the man spoke for now. "Ne jichan, you know how these things work?" he picked his journal back up and waved it around. The brochure had said the journal was an important tool for communication and thus a way to gather information. Which was something Naruto really needed right now since the brochure hadn't said all that much about the city itself and pretty much had been useless.

"Upon arriving at the gate, a few hours ago--" Garnet glanced at the gate, a worried frown crossing her face. "There was... A strange woman acting as gatekeeper. She was forcing those wishing to enter to pay money."
She laughed, a slight bit embarrassed. "I hadn't realized she wasn't the true gatekeeper. But... As she spoke to me, a new man arrived. He wore a black cloak with the hood up, so I could not see his face-- except I am certain he has orange eyes."
She shook herself. Focus, it was important, she was certain. "He had amazing power-- and he was intent on forcing both of us into the city." Garnet hadn't looked at the journals, so she knew nothing of the organization, nor of the fact that everything she was saying was commonplace knowledge among those already stuck there.
However, she also didn't realize she had also seen something that no one else had, in some way, shape, or form.
"This is almost certainly a trap, because your homes, I have never heard of them. I am from Alexandria, and I am certain neither of you have ever heard of it, either!" She looked a bit upset, but controlled herself, erasing the feeling.
There was naught to be upset over yet.
"For introductions I am--" she hesitated. "I am Garnet."
no subject
“A theory I am having, but first Alexandria, a planet is it?”
A man in a black hooded cloak, orange eyes, remarkable powers… …a Sith? One of the Emperor’s Hands? He hadn’t felt Darth Vador’s death through the Force so he couldn’t have been a Sith, there could only be two. But this man sounded like a Dark-side user. Something else occurred to him. If a Force sensitive could so easily display their powers than the Empire surely had no power here. And that meant that he was no longer in the galaxy.
“Hmmm… …the incident at the gate, mentioned in the journals it has been, as has the idea that this is a trap. Tell me, what powers did this man display?”
The boy’s curiosity and desire for knowledge about the city were blatantly obvious to the Jedi even without him being able to feel them. He smiled at the boy, “If patience you have, show you how to work the journal I will.”

"I'm afraid I've never heard of Alexandria, no..." he put on a smile for her despite his own feelings, in the hope it would be a bit of a comfort. " But it's nice to meet you Garnet-neechan!"
He chuckled nervously at Yoda, scratching the back of his head in a way to express his confusion. Obviously these two weren't from anywhere he came from. But that meant they couldn't understand his language, didn't it? Yet they still spoke back to him normally... This place just got more confusing by the minute. "Eh...jichan is something of a polite way to address an umm..elderly man." He made a poor attempt at explaining, hoping it would be enough. "It's nice to meet you, Yoda-jichan!"
He quieted down for a moment as Yoda questioned Garnet but practically beamed when Yoda went back to the subject of journals. "Really? You will? Thank you, Yoda-jichan!" If there was one thing Naruto knew, it would be the importance of information. It was one thing Jiraiya had made sure to drill into the boy's mind. After all, ero-sennin was known for his information gathering skills. It was only naturally he would teach Naruto the importance of information.

It was her turn to do all the reacting to questions, however, and she puzzled over the mention of planets. "No, I do not believe so. Alexandria is a country. Our planet is called Gaia. Do you ask because... Coruscant is a... planet?" She loved the idea of learning new things, even in this misappropriated setting.
However, she had to giggle at the odd sounding suffix that Naruto had added to her name. "Ah, it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Uzumaki, Yoda. I only hope that we may solve this puzzle before too long. I feel there is urgent trouble I must stop in my own country, and I cannot do that here."
no subject
A suffix added for respect to an elderly man? Yoda’s mouth opened in what anyone who knew him could tell was a playful grin. “Judge me by my age do you, Naruto-jichan?” He gave a few chuckles.
His grin shrank some as he listened to Garnet answer about Alexsandria and her question about Coruscant. It had been a long time since he had talked to somebody that… …well to somebody at all for that matter, not including Luke and the spirits of past Jedi such as Obi-wan and Qui-gon.
“Coruscant a planet is, though it’s position relative to Gaia I know not. Though near other planets in the known galaxy, Gaia is not, else heard of it someone would, unless hidden it is.”
He noticed a set of nearby benches and hobbled in their direction. “An old man Yoda is, sit down and show you how to work the journals I will.” As he sat down he looked over at Garnet. “Trouble I fear we may already be in. What did the man do?” He offered her a comforting look yet expecting look. “Important could be the details of your’ encounter.”

And then, it was run like hell time into the city. Obviously, Jak wanted him to meet him somewhere. Except, Jak had never said anything about this place, and he didn't have a note on him from Jak at all. Maybe Jak wasn't meeting him somewhere like he'd originally thought. Maybe Jak was... not there?
His face looked slightly horrified. "He wouldn't do that to me, would he?" And he realize that Jak could be downright cruel whenever the mood struck him and Daxter whined.
Try to find people who can-- hello, perfect. The old timer and the boy weren't all that impressive, but that girl in the group definitely deserved a second, or maybe even fifteenth, look. He scampered to them, clinging to the foot of the girl, all dramatics.
"Help me! I've been abandoned here, miss! Oh, what's a guy to do!"
no subject
He wrinkled his nose at Yoda when he returned his own words right back at him. "I am no jichan! I'm just 15! And it was just meant to be polite.." He complained, feeling slightly embarrassed. He was used to adding a suffix to someone's name, he didn't know otherwise.
He remained unusually silent in Yoda's and Garnet's exchange of words about planets. Because really, he had no idea what they were talking about and he'd just store the information away to the back of his mind (where he'd eventually forget about it anyway).
Naruto's grin was back in place as soon Yoda said he was going to teach Naruto about the journals so he bounded after the old man and sat down with him. He nodded to Yoda's statement. He'd like to know more of Garnet's encounter with the black-coated man as well. It could indeed be important information.
However all of a sudden the three of them got interrupted and Naruto couldn't help but outright stare at the...thing that had suddenly attached itself to Garnet's foot. It kinda looked like a weasel...except it wasn't really. And it talked. But talking animals were nothing new to him.
"Abandoned by who?"
no subject
He had distracted her from answering her question quite effectively, and she smiled apologetically at her two companions. "Ah, I am sorry, I almost forgot to answer your question, Yoda." She fidgeted for a moment as she recalled the details.
The black and white lightning he'd sent at her, to choke her-- or perhaps to distract her from helping the other woman. That, perhaps, made more logical sense than to assume he wanted nothing more than to harm her. After all, all he seemed concerned about was their entry into the city. Nothing more, and nothing less.
The wall-- that was more unique, unlike any magic spell that she had ever seen. Walls were protective measures-- not weapons. How had he managed that? And then, immediately after that, darkness... A.. black lightning reaching out and attacking the other, rendering her helpless.
Garnet had understood that to fight back at that point was futile effort. And so had the other, apparently, because she soon gave up.
"He... Used a wall-- as a weapon. It appeared from his hand and knocked the other away... Black and white lightning came out of his hand as well, and he used that to distract me, I believe. His lightning, however, had ropelike characteristics. It could bind me. And when he used it on the other, it bound her as well." She glanced at them, face resolved.
"I believe he is our captor."
(no subject)
no subject
But that last little statement she made caught him off guard, and he looked appropriately horrified. That would mean Jak hadn't had anything to do with this prank! And that worried Daxter more than anything else possibly could have.
"Captor?! Wait, so you're tellin' me this is a prison?!"
He fell to his knees. "Damn you, Praxis! I don't know how the hell you did this, but I know you did!!" And he glanced back to Garnet.
And muttered to himself, "Well.. It could always be worse. At least I'm with a hot chick..."

If Garnet's theory was right, somebody must have taken him as soon as he stepped out of Hokage's office. That was just...impossible. There was security near Konoha's gate and an even stronger security at Hokage's place. It was downright impossible to get past all that without notice. It was something even Akatsuki couldn't do, that he knew for sure. The person they were dealing with must be amazingly strong. Naruto didn't like thinking about it. He was actually starting to wish it was Akatsuki's doing now. At least he knew what they would be dealing with then.
Luckily the creature started to distract him by spouting out random things, successfully managing to pull Naruto out of his reverie. He looked back up to the creature with a mildly annoyed expression. "Oi!" he called out to it, hoping it wouldn't ignore him this time. "Calm down already, eesh. ..What's your name anyway?"
no subject
She smiled and dropped to her knees, so that she could pet him on the ears, hoping that would calm him down some, as well. "My name is Garnet. Please, introduce yourself. It may help you calm down. After all, there is little to be upset over now."
She glanced back at the other two, curious as to whether or not they believed her story. It seemed rather far fetched. But, why would she lie? She stood nothing to gain from it, except perhaps their help.
However, how far could that extend, and how pertinent would it be to her own situation? Thoughts she pushed aside to consider under better conditions, whenever those may come.

"My name's Daxter, Hero and all around handyman, at your service, babe!" A pause and he added, "Ehe, I mean Garnet!" Well, he could pretend to be an overall nice guy as long as it suited his purposes.
And she was the only pretty girl in sight. She didn't seem the kind to put up with being called babe, so... Better safe than without a girl who was willing to scratch his ears, right? His journal clattered to the ground as his mouth went slack. You know, he could get used to this, right?
no subject
He watched the old man read something on his journal for a while, squinting his eyes at the screen as he tried to see what was written. Although it wasn't really working so he leaned in to take a closer look but instead of reading the post like that (it would be rude to do so, no?) he opted to point at the screen and shoot Yoda a quizzical look. "What's that?"
He hoped that with his question Yoda would start explaining the journals to him.
(ooc: It's alright! It's not like posts have to be long. XD)
no subject
But, knowing how they were meant to be used, and the various functions of them would be a wise decision at any rate. And Garnet wasn't entirely without curiosity-- even if she did see no use for them.
no subject
He gave a heavy sigh and proceeded to explain the journals to the group. “Simple enough it is. Need these you will if an advantage you seek. Information and awareness… …critical to our survival they are.” He hadn’t meant to be so blunt about it but that’s how it was. He looked around to see the visual reactions of the others, not that he couldn’t already feel them but people needed to be treated like people and not just objects to be understood.
no subject
Jak obviously wasn't here, and it would do no good to annoy the hell out of everyone else before they even knew him. He wanted to have friends, especially when it concerned Garnet, and he didn't want to alienate the other two, either. Who knew, perhaps they could fire off a gun better than Jak could, and then he'd feel like an ass.
Not that he wasn't called an ass on a daily basis, but that was a matter that could wait until later.
"Kidnapped, eh? You mean double kidnapping?" he asked as he walked over to the others, so he could join in fawning over the journals.
no subject
But even Naruto knew he couldn't do anything as of yet, he had no information or anything to go by. So he fixed his attention back to Yoda and made sure he listened very carefully to everything the old man said about the journals. "I see...Thanks for explaining Yoda-jichan!" he grinned, although it was a bit of a forced grin it still held Naruto's true feelings. He decided not to say anything about Daxter's comment as he didn't understand what the creature meant with "double kidnapping".
Now that he knew how they worked Naruto flipped open his own journal so he could keep himself distracted from the gloomy thoughts. Only to find out someone had commented on the journal entry he had made before (and forgotten all about). He set about replying to the comments, soon getting so caught up in them he forgot he was in the company of other people. Thus his expression kept changing as he kept replying to comments. Although he made no sound, save for the small noise of shock he gave when he had figured out who he had been exchanging comments with, his expressions easily gave away what he was thinking. At the end of the 'conversation' Naruto was still just staring at his journal in sheer disbelief. Had he really just talked with Uchiha Itachi and an Akatsuki member? And Itachi was really coming to meet him? He gave a soft grunt, all he could do now was wait and see. Something he was quite bad at.
no subject
No, quite the opposite. She wanted to remain unnoticed. But... If she could find someone to aid her towards Lindblum after escaping from this horrid place... She debated, unsure of an answer, or an objective.
But that left the question all the more apparent in her mind. "What do we do now?"
It was growing late as it was, and she felt that an inn-- and perhaps some food-- would be the best bet, even though she held relatively little in the way of money. However, it was worth suggesting. "Perhaps we should search out an inn-- or at least food for the night... And discuss our plans then?"
She held the journal tight.
no subject
"Most welcome you are Naruto-JICHAN?", he was attempting to lighten the general negativity of the surrounding mood. He could sense Naruto's sudden excitement, apprehension and general confusion. "Found something you have Naruto?"
“Agreed then we are.” He replied to Garnet. He quickly pulled up a map of Paxao and showed it to her, pointing out the various inns and restaurants near by. A little rest and relaxation would do this poor girl a world of good. He pondered a minute weighing the advantages and disadvantages of what he was considering. He raised his head to look at Garnet in the eyes. “Hhhmmm, ease your’ stress I could… …and lift your’ spirit. So worried you should not be.” He gazed into her eyes a moment to let what he was offering sink in.
“Besides,” he said after a moment, giving a small grin and glanced at Daxter “a professional hero we have.”
He couldn’t help but wonder why the small sentient would make such a strange claim. Size mattered not when considering ones power. And although the creature stood out very little in the Force, heroes were not necessarily strong in the Force but in the heart.
no subject
His palm met his face. "Oi vey, do I have to explain everything around here?" he asked himself with a sigh before he climbed up onto the bench, and on top of the back rest for it as well, so he could garner some height over the others.
"What I mean is, we've been kidnapped, right? Taken striaght out of our homes with no warning, right? And then some more people are taken out of whatever home they've made here, right?" He looked at there faces. As if he was trying to make sure they understood him. Who knew if they really did, however.
Not that he cared, he felt he had a very valid point.
"Soooooo... That makes it a double-kidnapping, right? We're not safe here!" He scratched his ears. "Well, you're probably safest with me, cause not like they'd dare fight me, but you know what I'm saying!"

Itachi utilized the rooftops as he travelled, having slipped out before Zetsu would have noticed. It wasn't that he didn't want the older shinobi knowing he was going out. Rather, he didn't want the Grass-nin to follow. There was a large chakra signature ahead, accompanied by others of a more foreign nature, and Itachi was sure that was where he would find Naruto.
Itachi jumped down from the rooftops to land gracefully in front of the four. He secured his weapons pouches as he straighted, looking at them for the telltale hitai-ate that would mark a Konoha shinobi. There. The one in the orange. Itachi focused his gaze on the blonde-haired teen.
"Uzumaki Naruto?"
no subject
To keep himself distracted as he waited he listened to Yoda's talk of inns and Daxter's explanation of double kidnappings. "Oh, I get it!" he exclaimed, understanding what the creature meant now. It made sense. However he was itching to say something about Daxter's "hero" talk until someone, quite literally, dropped in.
Speak of the devil. Well, sorta. "Heh.." he scratched the back of his head awkwardly before standing up. "Uchiha Itachi." he replied, trying to sound as casual as possible. This just felt very awkward however, Naruto's mind was still so full of doubts. What if it were a trap? Then again he was with quite some people so he doubted Itachi would try something. He eased himself with that thought a little. Oh if only Sakura would have been here to help him, she'd know what to do.
Blinking, he suddenly realized something and shortened the distance between himself and Itachi. Leaning in (effectively invading the personal space bubble Itachi might have had) and squinting his eyes at him as he assessed the Uchiha. The thing he had realized before was that Itachi was actually smaller than him. He didn't have his sharingan activated either (the Itachi he knew seemed to have it on constantly) and overall he gave off a different vibe. Leaning back and plopping down on the bench again, he grinned up in a rather fox-like way. "Well, you definitely look different than the Itachi I know."
He didn't think even a Henge could change a person this much or at least, not change the vibe they gave off. He was quite relieved, not that he would admit it, to have someone else of his village around. This Itachi was so different, so much more like...Sasuke somehow.

She glanced back at Yoda, a smile and a light shake of her head in declining his offer as politely as she could manage without bringing it up. She needed to discover the limits of her own strength, and thus she couldn't depend on those around her forever. She was on a mission to save her mother, and to perhaps save the other countries surrounding them.
Her mother had grown more warthirsty as of late... She paused and shook herself. Focus, focus, Garnet! This was not the time, nor the place.

Yoda sensed the boy before he dropped down to meet them (it was hard not to miss the boys’ strong presence in the Force) and so didn’t take his eyes off Garnet until she shook her head. He offered her another grin, her emotions giving him a good enough idea of why she didn’t want his assistance. “A wise decision you have made.” He said this with a confidence that did not doubt his own abilities but that was meant to strengthen her resolve. He liked this girl’s spirit; her inner strength was most impressive.
He was mildly surprised when the new comer and Naruto greeted each other. This must have been who Naruto was talking to over the journals. Either the boy had been nearby when Naruto had begun their communication or he was incredibly fast. Considering his presence in the Force he wouldn’t doubt it. He silently watched the interaction between him and Naruto, waiting to see how things would play out. He grinned to himself as he thought of this serious boys’ reaction to what ever loud and wild thing Daxter would say.

No one that hot should ever be upset, but he had other things on his mind too. He'd have to see later about trying to find Jak, or else he'd be really screwed here. Hard to back up hero talk if the two-man team is reduced to one. So, he watched the two.
"Oi vey, you're worse than Jak! Eesh, sneak right in, why don'cha! Not like our nerves aren't frustrated enough already!"
Eesh, sometimes people needed to learn manners.

The Uchiha was about to say something when he was struck with a wave of dizziness. On reflex, he flung out an arm to steady himself, feeling his balance start to go and squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for it to pass. The dizziness faded leaving a headache in its wake as Itachi opened his eyes. He blinked, clearly confused, and looked around, as if trying to figure out where he was.
The young shinobi focused on the people before him, offering a puzzled glance as he scratched his head. "Excuse me, but where are we and who are you?"

"Itachi!" Naruto had rushed forward in some sort of automatic reaction to support the younger shinobi. Afterward he really had no idea why he'd done it. Perhaps it was because this Itachi was just so much like Sasuke. He didn't have time to dwell on the thought however, as Itachi's behaviour seemed to get stranger by the second. The questions he suddenly asked really left Naruto in a perplexed state too.
"Aha...that's not funny.." he said meekly but knew deep down that Itachi probably wasn't joking, he was Itachi after all. He bit on his lower lip before deciding to just simply reply. "We're at the Vanaheim Gate, were we said we would meet. ...You said my name just a second ago, I'm Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto was puzzled to say the least, confusion written all over his face. Did Itachi forget just like that? That didn't seem like him at all.

It was like everything had been blown out of her head, like leaves. Because when she opened her eyes, she wondered why her arms were over her face. She couldn't positively remember what had happened the moment before, nor could she remember the company she was in. She couldn't remember who she was, where she was from.
She lowered them, a perplexed look coming across her face. And then she glanced around, confused. "Ah... I can't remember," she mumbled to herself, taking a step from the group. And another. "What was I doing...?" It'd be nice to even know her name!

The assult continued until Yoda felt the sudden confusion emanating from Itachi and Garnet, worry quickly set in and the quarrel with Daxter was promptly put on hold. Naruto seemed to know Itachi so he left him to take care of that so that he could focus on Garnet. “Garnet, all right are you?” The only dumb question was the one that went unasked and so he slowly began to question her in a comforting paternal tone. “How feel you?”
He considered briefly whether or not he should use the Force to prevent her from panicking but just as quickly dismissed it. Garnet had denied his offer earlier and even if she couldn’t remember it he would respect her decision. He hoped to the Force the ever flighty Daxter wouldn’t pursue the head whacking issue in light of these current events or cause the panic he was trying to prevent.

And that was when things started to go crazy. Or, rather, crazier. First, there was the stumbling ninja, who when he finally had regained his balance seemed a few screws looser than he had before. Daxter had begun to comment on it, when Garnet had thrown her arms up in a defensive pose.
And when she'd finally lowered them, she seemed to be just as confused and lost as him. Daxter stared, struck dumb. "They can't remember?!" he exclaimed after a moment, hopping up and down. "This ain't good, if I do say so myself!"

"I don't remember meeting you, 'Uzumaki Naruto'," Itachi replied, uncertainty quite evident in his voice. "Why... exactly would I be meeting you?" These questions seemed more important to him than trying to figure out who he was.
Itachi looked at everyone around him one more time. Blonde-haired person, green-skinned person... black-haired girl... who had black hair like him and couldn't remember who she was... and a talking... weasel? Surely this was a dream, right?

He could only nod to Daxter's statement. "This is bad, very very bad." There didn't seem a whole lot they could do either, except provide answers to prevent them from panicking. Since Yoda was already dealing with Garnet he turned back to Itachi.
"You were meeting me so we could go talk to Sasuke together tomorrow." Naruto prayed that Itachi hadn't forgotten about that although it was quite evident he did. He just hoped that by saying it, Itachi would remember. Meeting Sasuke was so very important, Itachi was going to make Sasuke understand something, right? It would prove to be a very bad time to go and forget things. What was he going to say to Sasuke now?

"Ah, my apologies! I did not intend to wander..." Her eyes ran over each of the people there as she said this.
Despite her best hopes, none of them looked the least familiar, except for the boy who had dark hair like her. But he didn't even look familiar, really, just similar, and he looked to be as confused as she was. This was highly upsetting to Garnet. Out of all of them, and none of them she could possibly remember.
"I am afraid sir, I cannot recall how I should be feeling... But I feel fine as of this moment, if a bit confused and concerned at my lack of a memory," she responded to Yoda's question, as eloquent as she had been only moments ago. Except, this time she couldn't seem to recall why she spoke so formally.
She pressed her hands to her bosom, a small frown coming across her face. "Who am I?" she asked softly, as if this might make the answer return faster to her.

He glanced over at Daxter incredulously, that ones’ power of observation was amazing. At least he hadn’t caused her to panic by saying anything other than the obvious. He turned back to Garnet.
“Garnet your’ name is. Known each other only a short time we have, woke up here all of us did although your’ memory retained it was.” He paused a moment before continuing “Yoda my name is, and Daxter he is.” he indicated the rodent like creature as he mentioned him. “Find a solution we will, and assist you I will in recovering your’ memory.” It was only right for him to help. Everything happened for a reason after all.
He held up his journal and indicated the map still displayed upon the screen. “Deciding where to go we were, hungry are you?” He hoped he was sounding compassionate rather than deceitful.

"Hey, don't worry 'bout it, Garnet!" He grinned and climbed up to her shoulder with ease. He was well practiced at it, after all, thanks to Jak. "We'll figure out how to get you back to normal!" He paused. "Well, if we can figure out why you're like this, anyway."

"I'm meeting someone with you...?" It truly rang no bells, and only served to confuse him further. Dammit, why couldn't he remember? "Who is this 'Sasuke'? Why would I want to talk with him?"
Itachi wasn't even sure that he could trust Naruto. After all, he didn't remember the older boy, and surely it wouldn't be difficult for someone to manipulate him while he wouldn't be able to tell. This didn't make him feel any better, either.
"Where am I supposed to meet this 'Sasuke'?" And he still hadn't asked the key question... who was he?

Naruto also realized that he could easily take advantage of Itachi now, he could tell him whatever he wanted and he could even kill him if he so desired (like this he wouldn't remember any jutsus now would he?). But Naruto wasn't that kind of person and besides, if Itachi were to regain his memories and still remember any lies Naruto might have told him he'd be done for. He wouldn't dare messing with an ANBU captain, not even one who had apparently lost his memory and Naruto was way too honest anyway. Oh and if Garnet hadn't remembered who she was, Itachi wouldn't either, right? "You're Uchiha Itachi and you can trust me, I'm not going to take advantage of you. I have no reason to." he answered the unspoken question and hoped he was able to win Itachi over because really, he didn't have a reason to since this Itachi wasn't with Akatsuki.
Now, the Jinchuuriki knew there was a lot more to tell Itachi before they could go meet Sasuke but it was all rather...private. He wasn't about to go and tell everyone Itachi was going to be a mass murderer while he hadn't done anything yet. So reaching a conclusion, he turned to Yoda and his little group. "Ne, Yoda-jichan...I'm going to take Itachi to a hotel and explain everything to him so please take care of Garnet-neechan." He knew Garnet would be in safe hands and Daxter, despite his loudness, could be trusted too. "If anything happens and you need my help or Garnet-neechan gets her memory back, you can contact me on the journal." He held up his journal and gave them a wide reassuring grin. He really hated having to leave Garnet like this but he felt like he had no choice.
He bowed to Yoda and thanked him once again for explaining the journals before going back to Itachi. "We're meeting Sasuke at Porfavore's, a restaurant. Now follow me and I'll explain everything to you." With that he gave the remaining group one last wave before leading Itachi to whatever hotel he could find. It sure was going to be a long night and he hoped Garnet and the others would be alright.
(OOC: Done! n_n Raina and Jay, you can start a new thread for yourselves if you like, this one was starting to get rather long anyway. XD; )

Garnet watched them leave, a puzzled expression on her face as they left, the one in the orange suit seeming in a hurry. And she naturally had no clue why everyone was suddenly splitting up. It was frustrating to not remember anything, but perhaps she didn't know why they were leaving anyway. And, apparently, it wouldn't have mattered. Everyone in this group had only just met her.
"My name is Garnet..." she said slowly, taking her eyes off of the departing two, and back to the two remaining. Her stomach rumbled, and she laughed, her cheeks turning slightly red with embarassment. "Ah, yes... I do believe I am hungry, Yoda!"
Still, at least she wasn't entirely alone in the world. She could at least say that she had friends, even if one seemed very obnoxious and loud. They weren't leaving her, behind, were they? And the prospect of food seemed entirely too good to her.

He really didn't want to have to deal with that in addition to Garnets' memory loss. One problem at a time.
He grinned as Garnets' stomach gave a rumble. "Hehe, I place on the map I found, Cafe Ersesat it is called. Not to far it is." He began hobbling along on his gimer stick in the direction indicated on the map. Right now this poor girl needed some comfort a good meal. He wondered if Daxter would come along or seek mischief elsewhere. Oh well, he was hungry and the creature was rather entertaining.
