Naruto snapped out of his reverie when he heard Yoda address him, quickly closing his journal (so he'd stop reading the messages over and over again) and pocketing it away. He looked back to the old man, plastering his usual grin back on his face. "Ah yes, I've found someone from my village. He's coming to meet me here."
To keep himself distracted as he waited he listened to Yoda's talk of inns and Daxter's explanation of double kidnappings. "Oh, I get it!" he exclaimed, understanding what the creature meant now. It made sense. However he was itching to say something about Daxter's "hero" talk until someone, quite literally, dropped in.
Speak of the devil. Well, sorta. "Heh.." he scratched the back of his head awkwardly before standing up. "Uchiha Itachi." he replied, trying to sound as casual as possible. This just felt very awkward however, Naruto's mind was still so full of doubts. What if it were a trap? Then again he was with quite some people so he doubted Itachi would try something. He eased himself with that thought a little. Oh if only Sakura would have been here to help him, she'd know what to do.
Blinking, he suddenly realized something and shortened the distance between himself and Itachi. Leaning in (effectively invading the personal space bubble Itachi might have had) and squinting his eyes at him as he assessed the Uchiha. The thing he had realized before was that Itachi was actually smaller than him. He didn't have his sharingan activated either (the Itachi he knew seemed to have it on constantly) and overall he gave off a different vibe. Leaning back and plopping down on the bench again, he grinned up in a rather fox-like way. "Well, you definitely look different than the Itachi I know."
He didn't think even a Henge could change a person this much or at least, not change the vibe they gave off. He was quite relieved, not that he would admit it, to have someone else of his village around. This Itachi was so different, so much more like...Sasuke somehow.
