Naruto turned his head to glare at Daxter, he was getting quite enough of the creature. It was just so damn noisy. (Sadly he didn't realize he was exactly the same or at least used to be) "Oi, I invited him here and sneaking is what ninjas do." With that he turned back to Itachi, only to notice something was quite off.
"Itachi!" Naruto had rushed forward in some sort of automatic reaction to support the younger shinobi. Afterward he really had no idea why he'd done it. Perhaps it was because this Itachi was just so much like Sasuke. He didn't have time to dwell on the thought however, as Itachi's behaviour seemed to get stranger by the second. The questions he suddenly asked really left Naruto in a perplexed state too.
"Aha...that's not funny.." he said meekly but knew deep down that Itachi probably wasn't joking, he was Itachi after all. He bit on his lower lip before deciding to just simply reply. "We're at the Vanaheim Gate, were we said we would meet. ...You said my name just a second ago, I'm Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto was puzzled to say the least, confusion written all over his face. Did Itachi forget just like that? That didn't seem like him at all.
