Garnet looked down, her curiosity kicking in as she plucked the creature from her leg, and held it up to study it. "It is an interesting creature-- And it talks!" But, his squirming was not helping her examine him, so she placed him back on the ground.

He had distracted her from answering her question quite effectively, and she smiled apologetically at her two companions. "Ah, I am sorry, I almost forgot to answer your question, Yoda." She fidgeted for a moment as she recalled the details.

The black and white lightning he'd sent at her, to choke her-- or perhaps to distract her from helping the other woman. That, perhaps, made more logical sense than to assume he wanted nothing more than to harm her. After all, all he seemed concerned about was their entry into the city. Nothing more, and nothing less.

The wall-- that was more unique, unlike any magic spell that she had ever seen. Walls were protective measures-- not weapons. How had he managed that? And then, immediately after that, darkness... A.. black lightning reaching out and attacking the other, rendering her helpless.

Garnet had understood that to fight back at that point was futile effort. And so had the other, apparently, because she soon gave up.

"He... Used a wall-- as a weapon. It appeared from his hand and knocked the other away... Black and white lightning came out of his hand as well, and he used that to distract me, I believe. His lightning, however, had ropelike characteristics. It could bind me. And when he used it on the other, it bound her as well." She glanced at them, face resolved.

"I believe he is our captor."
