Prepare for Landing. [Complete]
Character(s): Linali Li, Kanda Yuu, Rabi, NPC receptionist, Ashe, Shunsui, Nanao
Content: The female Black Priest travels to the center of the city to reunite with Rabi, his friends, and Kanda.
Setting: Actua Are [J7]
Time: Sunday, early afternoon
Warnings: Flirting, juice stains, a broken nose, and 'sweet' faces. Bewareth.
Under the warm sunshine, the exorcist softly shuts her black mini-PC. She slips the journal into her shirt's inner pocket and hops to her feet. She took the coat (which she had removed a while ago due to the heat) and grudgingly put it back on again. She knew that it would fly off if she had tied it around her waist.
Flipping her hair out of the collar and stretching her limbs, Linali positioned herself for takeoff.
Crouching, the dark boots began to whir, the cross-embedded orbs attached to the ankles began to glow, and....
Blast off!
A thin dust cloud was left as her starting point; she shot through the sky like a fighter jet, hair and coat flailing wildly behind her. Thanks to an in-depth, three-dimensional map of the city, Linali was able to designate her route of travel; it also allowed her to recognize block J7 from a bird's-eye-view.
Sooner than she expected, she was homing in on the hotel. Anyone within a ten-meter radius would be able to hear the growing sound of something burning from the sky.

The exorcist placed a hand on the smooth wood, glancing at the Lost & Found shelf against the wall in front of her.
"Hello! My name is Linali Li, and I'm looking for someone by the name of Rabi..."
"Oh! Let me check the register." The receptionist beamed, immediately taking out a thick leather-covered book with metal corners.
"Thank you," she responded with appreciation. As the formally-dressed woman scanned the check-in log, Linali turned to look around the cozy hotel. It was a comfortable place; the warm colors and lighting brought a relaxing feeling. It was also cooler in the building with its psuedo-marble floors. The Chinese's heels clicked as she shifted her weight, looking from one side to the other. Wonder who long Rabi's been here. I forgot to ask.
The round-faced receptionist harrumphed, recapturing the dark-haired girl's attention. "I'm afraid I cannot find a Rabi in the register. Is he with any companions?"
"Yes, he is."
"Do you know their names?" she tapped her pen.
"Hmm...I think they were Shunsui, Isaac, and Ashe. I'm not sure of their surnames, sorry," she shrugged.
"One moment." Another wait, but it was shorter than last. "Aha! Here, there is a client by the name of Kyouraku Shunsui. Is this who you are looking for?"
Slowly nodding, Linali answered. "Yes, I suppose it is."
"He is registered with three other persons in room 4A, but I must receive permission from the client to let you pass," the deskwoman said as she rest her head on her palm.
"Oh! No, that's okay. I'll just wait here. Thank you!"
"You're welcome." the deskwoman gave a small smile and returned to her duties as Linali walked away towards an inviting couch--but she just remembered that Kanda was coming.
"I'd better wait for him outside...."
Thus, the Dark Boots exorcist went back outside and waited below the shade, keeping an eye out for familiar black hair and a scowl.
