Prepare for Landing. [Complete]
Character(s): Linali Li, Kanda Yuu, Rabi, NPC receptionist, Ashe, Shunsui, Nanao
Content: The female Black Priest travels to the center of the city to reunite with Rabi, his friends, and Kanda.
Setting: Actua Are [J7]
Time: Sunday, early afternoon
Warnings: Flirting, juice stains, a broken nose, and 'sweet' faces. Bewareth.
Under the warm sunshine, the exorcist softly shuts her black mini-PC. She slips the journal into her shirt's inner pocket and hops to her feet. She took the coat (which she had removed a while ago due to the heat) and grudgingly put it back on again. She knew that it would fly off if she had tied it around her waist.
Flipping her hair out of the collar and stretching her limbs, Linali positioned herself for takeoff.
Crouching, the dark boots began to whir, the cross-embedded orbs attached to the ankles began to glow, and....
Blast off!
A thin dust cloud was left as her starting point; she shot through the sky like a fighter jet, hair and coat flailing wildly behind her. Thanks to an in-depth, three-dimensional map of the city, Linali was able to designate her route of travel; it also allowed her to recognize block J7 from a bird's-eye-view.
Sooner than she expected, she was homing in on the hotel. Anyone within a ten-meter radius would be able to hear the growing sound of something burning from the sky.

no subject
He had already been on his way towards the Actua Are hotels when Linali contacted him. Kanda had been wondering why he and Rabi had been the only exorcists to be pulled into this world. Or, alternately, why it had been only the two of them and nobody else. Linali's arrival was somewhat comforting, for lack of a better word, but mostly it drove in the fact that nothing he could do would make this place more sensical.
So, he had no (big) problems with returning to the center of the city. It was a long walk, but he wasn't in any hurry and didn't particularly care if he was slightly late. Rabi and Linali were the only exorcists with powers that allowed them to cross long distances in very little time. Kanda, though he could move fast enough on his own, saw no need in this circumstance.
Occasionally taking glances at his journal's map, Kanda made his way along the streets of Paixao towards their meeting point. His exorcist's coat was in his left hand, slung over his left shoulder. For whatever reason (illogical, not worth examining), the temperature had suddenly spiked upwards in the morning. So, he just wore a plain white button-down- sleeves hiked up a bit- and black slacks. It would do, for the time being.
After all, the hotel staff hadn't yet realized that neither him nor Rabi had any money with which to pay.
