What's the point of meeting if you're not eating, anyway? [Active]
Character(s): Gourry and Lina
Content: Lina and Gourry meet up for the first time since her arrival!
Setting: Jotunheim's Cheap Eats
Time: Early evening?
Warnings: Gluttony and slapstick violence.
It wasn't the first time Gourry had been to this particular establishment. It may not have been classy, but it just reminded him so much of home -- dimly-lit and humbly furnished, maybe a little shady at times, but altogether simple and without pretense, like most of the inns and restaurants he and Lina would have stopped to eat at in their travels. Then, of course, there was the food -- it wasn't half-bad, and you got a lot of bang for your buck. Lina had taught him how to stretch a dollar when it came to food, and even if that wasn't much of a concern here, it had stuck with him.
Even though it pained him to do so, he kept telling the waitress he was going to wait on his order, knowing full well that Lina would have something to say about it if he'd started without her. He glanced towards the door every so often, hoping to catch a glimpse of that all-too-familiar red hair or blindingly pink outfit, but so far, no luck. Well, he'd already waited a couple of months. A few more minutes wouldn't kill him. Lina was usually pretty punctual, anyway... well. When it was convenient, at least.

UGH So Late Sorry ;A;
Giving a nod, Lina spoke, “Vyers seems to know what he’s doing. Get better acquainted and we’ll see if he’s good at fighting at all. My guess he probably is, seeing that he is some kinda demon,” shrugging, “I don’t think he’s up to anything bad either. Doesn’t seem the type, y’know? Though he certainly likes to dress fancy, like some kinda vampire or somethin’.”
Looking to the side, “Ne Gourry… You think we might see Amelia or Zel here sometime…? I don’t know when they might show up or if they even could… Kinda concerns me a bit that we got summoned here.”
