Oh~ Here She Comes, She's a Dragon Spooker [Active]
Character(s): Lina Inverse and Open to All
Content: A certain red-head sorceress makes her way into Paixao
Setting: Vanaheim Gate
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: None So Far
Things were somewhat a blur as Lina’s eyes fluttered open, as she awoke to what looked like a completely different world. Sitting up, realizing the tree is also a completely different tree entirely. Lina made a face, what kind of tree was this? No-What kind of place is this? Where is she and how the heck did she get here?!
Lina sat up and holding her fists close to her, as she cried out, “Ehhhhhhhh?! Where in the world am I?! How did-HEY HEY! WHO-WHA-?!”
Suddenly some natives from this place seem to be pushing Lina in line. She growled at them, then flailed at them till they stop touching her, “Hey ya wanna loose those hands?! Get lost before I decide to fireball ya ta the next century and back!”
Once Lina created enough of a little spark of fire in her hand as a warning they immediately backed off and away from her. Glaring toward them, she heard someone in front of them with a somewhat hesitant voice, “Ah-Um… N-Next?”
“Oi finally,” Lina turned around and pointed her gloved finger at the person behind a booth, “Ya mind tellin’ me where the heck am I, and how I got here?”
“It’s uh Paixao, could I have your name please?” the blonde person asked, Lina scoffed at them, waving her hand.
“Lina Inverse, now how-”
“Here’s your journal, now please go inside!”
“But ya haven’t told me how-”, Lina was shoved a journal and was about to also be pushed in, when she turned around at the same guys. Snarling at them as she rolled up her sleeves.
“RIGHT. Ya got till the count of three! One… Two…” And they immediately ran off… … Wow, she never saw people run away like that so fast before. She made a huff then glared at the person at the booth, “Fine, ya don’t wanna tell me how I got here, I’ll find out for myself.”
Stomping out in the city of Paixao, Lina folded her arms and looked around. Alright, maybe Gourry got himself lost in here somewhere. That is, if he got teleported here too, to… Whatever this Paixao place is, pulling out the journal she began try and examine it, making a small pout as she began pressing some buttons. Honestly though, she had no idea what she was doing.

Still, he hoped that a moment's break would allow himself to look back upon the information with fresh eyes and he would finally start to get somewhere.
Vyers took a long, deep breath of the fresh air with a small smile. Ah, but he was not one to be locked away for too long, was he? Truly, such behaviors did not suit him, necessary or no. He strolled down the street, enjoying the relative peace... until sudden shouting near one of the gates caught his attention.
"Someone must be arriving."
He watched for a moment longer, until the young woman had finished her rant and begun to look at her journal, before approaching. "Is everything all right, miss?"

When someone approached Lina, she made a growl out of frustration as she turned to face the man. “WHAT’S IT TO YA-Eh?”
Hey, this guy actually looks like he’s got some level of personality on him. Lina looked up at him with a slight pout. “Ya… Ya, I’m fine I just-Can’t figure out why I was handed this thing or how I got here. Or even why for that matter! I don’t recognize this place one bit! I don’t think I’ve ever been here!”
Giving a sigh, Lina closed the journal, now giving a more serious face up at him, “You don’t happen to know anythin’ that could help me learn ‘bout this place, do ya?”
no subject
"You have already been told this city's name, have you not? I can safely tell you that not all is as it seems. Everything here is a recreation formed of memories--this city as well, I presume. We are within a great castle housing worlds upon worlds of memories, one for every floor."
no subject
Giving a nod, Lina folded her arms, “Paixao, right?”
Then as the man continued, Lina tilted her head, “Memories? So there’s more than one level to this place, and each one is made out of a memory?” She rubbed her chin in thought, trying to figure this all out, “But… Whose memories are they?”
no subject
"As for your question about the memories, I cannot say. Some of the floors seem to be taken from the memories of those who have arrived here, but no one has ever visited the city we are in now."
no subject
Memories come from those who arrived here? “So it’s from memories from people like me, huh? Sounds like we’ve all been kidnapped for some kinda weird scientific experiment. Tch, can’t say I approve of that,” Lina looked to the side, wait, he mention different worlds. “Hey… Ya mind tellin’ me where you’re from? You any part of the Sea of Chaos plane?”

Then as Lina made her point she gave a smirk then poked him, “But thankfully, I don’t think like that about ya. So don’t worry about me saying it.”

not arrogance, no, why would you assume such? Lina grinned as she looked up at him, “So! Lucky you! I’ve decided I really like you, so you’re gonna be my tour guide for this place!”no subject

"Unfortunately, the more interesting parts of town are a few miles away, but there are a few good hotels and restaurants nearby," he began, stumbling once or twice as he was dragged. "And the people in this part of the city are much more welcoming than in others."

Glancing back up at Vyers, with a curious pout, Lina tilted her head slightly. “While, much as I am glad to hear that there is some hospitality ‘round here, gotta ask about the people who ain’t too fond of us. They any different from the weirdos at the gate?” she asked, as she continued to lead the way for both of them.

Tugging on Vyers arm, “Ne-ne, Vyers~! What’s the best place to eat ‘round here~? D’ya know?”
no subject
After all, hers was undoubtedly the best.
no subject
“Well we can head there either now or later, ya hungry Vyers?” Lina asked as she looked up at the man.
no subject
Perhaps he would get something for dessert at the bakery while he was there.
no subject
“What else does that thing do by the way?” Lina poked at the journal, looking back up at him, “That lady back there called it a journal. I can see it brought up a map, but what else is it for? Writing stuff?”
no subject
Vyers frowned and looked back at the screen of the journal for a moment longer before shutting it and putting it away. "But I suppose that is being a little too negative toward it."
no subject
When Vyers commented on the negative aspect of it. Lina took that into consideration, she shook her head, that matter should be taken seriously with no doubt. “No no, it’s a good thing to keep in mind. Can’t go sayin’ the wrong thing when just about anyone could see what you’re saying and or plannin’ on doin’,” Lina puts her hands on her hips, “After all, it doesn’t matter where you go, there’s always someone out there who’s up to no good.”
Gives a smirk as Lina looked down at herself, “Not that I can’t handle it, but I know ya can’t go sayin’ stupid stuff that might get someone in trouble.”
no subject
"It would be a good idea for you to make a post to the message board. People arrive and leave here in fair numbers on a daily basis. It is entirely possible that he is already here."
no subject
“Mm! I’ll be sure to do that, hopefully jellyfish for brains hadn’t gotten himself lost if he is here,” Lina commented with a slight groan. Really Gourry can be so dumb he would be distracted by something shiny within 5 seconds into a quest.
“Ne, there’s something else I wanna ask,” Lina said as relaxed a bit, but went back to looking at Vyers seriously for the moment, “What kinda ‘shadows’ are ya talkin’ about that lurk here? Monsters? Trolls? Your daily asshole villain? You mentioned the organization, they connected to any of this?”
no subject
He put a finger to his chin and stared up at the sky. "Explaining more of what the Organization is... may be a bit difficult." He had done his best to learn as much as he could about them, especially for when he had had a few members living or visiting the apartment frequently, but it was all still a bit hard to grasp.

Lina leaned back a bit as she put her hands behind her head, “So do they make it their job to be mysterious or are they just that annoyingly complicated?”

Snaps her fingers, “Oh right,” Lina she smirked, as she looked up Vyers, “Thanks for being the first ta greet me here, the first guy with an actual train of thought anyway! It’s good to make friends with a guy who knows some stuff ‘round here.”
