Two Cats Fighting Over a Yarn Ball [Active]
Character(s): Eden, Emizel, and in later comes Urd
Content: While Eden curiously checks out the New Hope she's heard about, she meets Emi there. However, Urd shows up, and there were much shenanigans.
Setting: The New Hope
Time: Afternoon-ish
Warnings: Urd and Eden are in this, together, in the same room. Might wanna hide in the bunkers.
Eden was taking a walk along the streets of Paixao, arms folded behind her back as she looked around with a smile on her face. She simply ignored the stares of passersby, it’s not easy being green, but she gets by. Eden hummed to herself till she spotted something across the street of the Cheap Prayer. Curious, she made her way over to come into the store.
Then there they were, every girl’s favorite past time, clothes shopping! Eden gave a little glee as she clapped her hands together. Oooo, so much to choose from! She immediately made her way to browse through the clothes. Looking at different dresses and hats. Eden took her time to come over to the mirror and shift through each dress. Sticking her tongue out to look. “Ooooo, this sundress looks nice, I wonder if they have it in pink-OOO but look at this shirt! Oh it’s so nice!” Eden chatted to herself as she went through each of dresses she had in her arms.

Maybe she'll be back if he just waited a little longer. There was really not much harm in that at least. Maybe just look around a bit in the meantime, who knows.

“Heeeeey! Hey! I know you! I met you on the message boards, you’re that kid who seems to be easily embarrassed!” Eden said without any hesitation whatsoever she patted her lip in observation, “Never caught your name, did I?”
no subject
See? I can jump to obvious conclusions too."N.. no, I doubt you ever did.." and with how things are right now it's possible it might take awhile until he might consider mentioning it. Emizel was really on the defensive side right now.
no subject
Bending over, Eden smiled, “You don’t have to tell me your name if you don’t want to dear. I honestly just thought you knew a thing or two about color tastes in clothes or not.” Boy this is like trying to be friendly to a wild stray cat, isn’t it? Does she need a yarnball or a cookie to get his attention?
no subject
"That's really all you wanted to ask?" he could at least still try to give the benefit of the doubt that Eden won't try to anything humiliating or cutesy to him, how true it was though might be another question.
no subject
Giving an honest nod, “Of course, you seem like someone who’s got good taste.” Eden turned around as she curled her hair with a free hand, “And besides, if no one is here to give me advice, how will I know if the decision I make will be a bad one? Last thing I want is to choose the wrong dress for the occasion~”
no subject
"Dresses are so lame though, there's no way I could help you with that." Or really Emizel just didn't want to. Seriously had it possibly be something else he might reconsider just a little... When did he have to be a fashion expert anyway?
no subject
Eden continued to carelessly tossed the clothes behind her shoulder at him, till she finally turned around, “Oh bother it all, maybe I should just stick with shoes.”

Giving a giggle, Eden curiously tilted her head, “What are you doing hiding underneath all these clothes, silly?”
no subject
Ah freedom. Sweet, sweet freedom."I wasn't hiding, you buried me!" ... and no, it wasn't funny. Shush.

Staring at Eden and Emizel, the goddess froze for a moment. Slowly she straightened her spine and cast a cool glance at Eden that was only slightly ruined by the immediately telling flush of anger on her face. "What are you two doing here?" She walked towards them, eyebrow raised.
no subject
"I'm not hurt--!" Emizel stopped and stared at the beaded entryway. Urd looked infuriated. This was.... quite more terrifying than usual since it seemed like he was getting blamed on for nothing. This was all the crazy woman's fault, not his!
"I-I was only hoping to get some more lessons," he slowly backed himself away from Eden. "She was the one doing everything else..!"
no subject
Folding her arms at Urd, she rolled her eyes, “I was shopping you know, for clothes? Those things you’re supposed to wear? I thought your shop had some nice dresses and things, or am I not allowed in here too?”
no subject
no subject
And.. hey, yeah, what was the point in buying new clothes if she could just make them?
no subject
Eden stomped her way over to Urd, glaring almost ridiculously cartoony as pointed at her opponent, “You callin’ my outfit frumpy?! Well your outfit looks like something the birds dragged home! Miss Raggedy Agh!”

Emizel backed off from Urd as soon as the... scantly clothing had appeared. Eventually having to turn his gaze away from her since the view was a little too much to stare at. Traumatizing and embarrassing all at the same time.
Perhaps he should get out of the room while he still could. He's heard horror stories on what happens when women get into fights like this and how no one (or anything) is safe. Maybe he could come back later
if the shop was still standing.no subject
“Y-YOU! TH-THAT’S-NOT! WOULD YOU STOP THAT! I-I-IT’S NOT FAIR-IT’S NOT FAIR AT ALL! B-BECAUSE Y-YOU GOT-!” Eden waved her hands about, as she pointed at the hello nurse outfit, then back at Emizel, “YOU’RE SCARING THE KID!”

"Y.. yeah. I-I was, but..." Emizel hadn't moved much, but he was slowly inching himself closer to the front door. "B-but I see that now maybe isn't a good time soiwilljustcomebacklater"
no subject
“HMPH!” Eden then folded her invisible sleeves and made her way over to Emizel with ease, “Nooooonsense, you don’t have to leave, you can still learn some lessons. But honestly kid, if you want to learn all the good old tricks, you should have come to me.” Jabbing her thumb toward Urd with a smirk, “Not Diamonds-Are-Girls-Best-Friend here~.”
no subject
"Though I guess if you wanna learn the really old tricks, you could go to her. Eden here is older than dirt."
no subject
"I-I... well.... I suppose it's not really... o-old tricks that I was looking for..."
There had to be some way out of this before it only got worse.
no subject
Giving a nod, “That’s right you can learn all the old as dirt tricks from…” TWITCH, Eden turned around making an exaggeratedly annoyed face at Urd, “HEY! MIND YER MANNERS YA DARN GODDESS!”
no subject
Laughing lightly, she patted Emizel's head. "Of course, your stale magic can't compete with mine, but you get points for trying!"
no subject
"I-I think maybe I should find someone else to learn from," yes, this seemed like a much better idea. Suddenly he's ducking under Urd hand, and darting for the door again.
no subject
“Why YOU-!” Eden whined as she brought her fists up, “My magic is not stale! It’s shines likes an imperial rainbow in the night!!” Suddenly in a poof, Eden was on top of what looked like a robot unicorn, with a rainbow mane, “You cannot even dare compete with how extraordinary and gorgeous my magic is compared to yours! Mine is indeed…”
There, Eden prepares for her dramatic close up, “EPIC.”
no subject
...a unicorn. Her face truly the picture of lineface, she crossed her arms and sighed. This woman was ridiculous, but then, Urd started to suspect that was the case for ALL djinns of their world.
Suddenly she paused, glancing around the shop. "...wait a minute. Where'd the kid go?"
no subject
This.. this was fine. He could always just.. try again later when they're done bickering
hopefully. It shouldn't take that long, right?.... Maybe looking for another mentor really was a better idea. There had to be someone else here good with magic that wasn't female.
no subject
Now noticing the kid did up and disappear on them, Eden blinked, and looked around. “Wha-Wha-Where did the little dude go?”
Eden rubbed her chin, as she posed again on the Robot Unicorn, “Perhaps he went home to do his homework…”
