Chiquitita tell me the truth (active / kind of open?)

Character(s): Naminé (mostly aimed for her housemates plus Xion, but anyone can add in as long as they don't mind the angst and yelling)
Content: Naminé's been returned and now she has to live with Xemnas' words
Setting: near their apartment, but not too close
Time: Uh... after the Xemnas / Naminé thread maybe a day or so?
Warnings: Angst, oh god the angst, and Timon if he turns up.

Naminé's non-existence had always been sewn with obedience and threats. From the moment she'd been discovered in Castle Oblivion to the time she'd worked with DiZ to restore Sora's memories to her time here with Timon, she'd been a creature of obedience. Only a handful of times had she disobeyed and that was only because she knew her obedience would hurt more people, hurt Sora. Naminé didn't care about herself, but she did care about hurting Sora. She wouldn't do it.

Now Xemnas was telling her that her life was again a life of obedience. And to be obedient was to hurt Sora. But this time Naminé didn't see any alternative. This time she couldn't protect Sora. And it was nearly killing her to realize that.

The portal dropped her off close to the apartment she shared, but not close enough that anyone would see her from that building. She didn't go back, not even to see if anyone had picked up her robe. Instead, fully visible, Naminé walked in the opposite direction, head bowed. She was going to hurt Sora again. And this time, there was nothing she could do about it.

Naminé didn't even care if she ran into Timon this time. It would serve her right if she did.

She wasn't sure how long she'd been gone, but she did remember falling asleep on a bench in an out-of-the-way place.

“Xemnas?” the meerkat repeated in a surprisingly calm tone while turning to look at the door. “That’s what all this was about?” He looked between the others for a moment, appearing just as confused as Vyers before the name finally clicked. Unfortunately for Naminé, her prediction had not been far off.

“XEMNAS?!” Timon’s eyes suddenly widened, his paws flying to his head and pulling his hair. “What are we doing still hangin’ around here for?! He could be on his way now! Why, he’d have to be halfway here by now! And if he ain’t, his goons probably are. What are we gonna do? WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!” Without waiting for so much as a response from the others, the meerkat ran off into another room, though proceeded to shout to them. “No, I got it! I know! We’ll move to the South- no, no! That’s too obvious. They’ll be expecting that. We’ll move to the West! Yes! They’ll never look there. We’ll take on a new alias. Start new lives! ”

When the meerkat finally appeared again he could be seen dragging a suitcase behind him, struggling to bring it to the door. “TO THE WEST!” he cried and pointed at the door triumphantly.

Simba didn't see the big deal about this 'Xemnas' guy. He had never heard of him, though Xion's reaction had him a bit worried, but he wouldn't let this guy hurt them.

And then Timon blew a few gaskets. Simba pushed himself up and put his paw on the meerkat's tail, putting just enough pressure to keep him from zooming around the apartment again. "What are you talking about? What's so bad about this guy anyway?" He kept his paw on Timon, but looked towards Xion and Namine waiting for an answer. He honestly had no idea what was going on, and he saw everyone's reaction as overblown. Well, except for Vyers. He didn't seem to know what was going on either.

She'd... changed Sora's memories? That's how she knew so much about him, and why Axel had thought she might have done something to Roxas. But Namine wouldn't do that, right? She'd been worried about Roxas too.

"What does he want?" Xion asked, concerned but not sounding afraid. She'd already defied the Organization once, for her own selfish curiosity. If she had to it again for friendship, she'd do it.

Timon's sudden change in demeanor immediately told Vyers what he needed to know. Whoever this "Xemnas" was, he was someone to be avoided. Timon was not the bravest of creatures, but there was little that Vyers could think of to get that strong of a reaction from him. His mouth set in a thin line, Vyers' only reply to Timon's panic and Namine's suggestion was a calm but firm "I am not moving."

And then came Namine's explanation. "The leader of the Organization..." he mused. And Namine's fear of him. But Xion was not afraid? Determined, yes. Concerned, yes. But not afraid.

Vyers kept silent for now, waiting for more of an explanation.

Timon may have abandon the suitcase he had stuff with food, clothing, and for some unknown reason the waffle iron which had replaced their toaster, but continued to squirm under Simba’s paw. He knew his protests would get him nowhere but had no intention of giving up anytime soon. At least now while he still had the energy in him. However, it was only a matter of minutes before the meerkat succeeded in wearing himself out and was forced to pay some form of attention to those around him.

“What are you nuts?!” He shouted. The idea of staying was absolutely absurd to him. Then again, he was not sure why he was surprised by Vyers. The demon never did fail to prove his stupidity. “Fine! Stay here! See what good that’ll do you. We’re leaving, right guys?”

Simba glared down at the meerkat. "No. We're not. Well, I'm not. Namine's a friend, and I'm not gonna let this Xemnas guy get to her." He let go of Timon's tail, a little disgusted with the fact that he would abandon these people so quickly.

"Do what you want Timon, but when a friend's in trouble, I don't let them handle it all alone." Simba would be more than happy to be Namine's 'guard-lion.' If this leader of the Organization wanted her so badly, he'd have to get by him first.

Had the question been that obvious? Xion winced a little, before shaking her head, looking stubborn once more. "Still, he wouldn't just come out to say that. He probably wanted to scare you or something." Her opinions of Xemnas were not exactly high recently. "I won't let him do anything. Because we're friends."

As others began to speak, Vyers' face began to soften, the corners of his lips twitching upwards into a small, gentle smile. What wonderful friends she had. Of course, Timon would have to be spoken to, but such panicked behavior was to be expected of the meerkat, especially in a situation involving someone like the Organization's leader. Vyers had his own reasons for staying behind, of course. He would not abandon this place and nothing could make him. But... for such a lovely young lady, he would be more than willing to take some of his time to make sure she would be safe during her stay here.

Vyers chuckled. "Then what more is there to say? You are welcome to stay as long as you like, and you need not worry about us." He waved a hand dismissively to emphasize his point. "Whatever challenges may come will come."

"I do not think your friends will allow any harm to come to you, my dear, and you may include myself in that." With a sweeping movement of his arm, he gestured to the others in the room, bringing his hand to rest over his heart as he came to the end of his statement.
