Toto, I don't think we're in Hueco Mundo anymore... [Active]

Character(s): Orihime Inoue, Mrs. Potts, open anyone else who drops by
Content: Orihime's first day in Paixao
Setting: Niflheim area
Time: Week 21
Warnings: none needed, I hope!

Orihime took a step forward into the streets of Paixao. The great domes of the city stretched above her, all of its light and sound contained within the roofs and echoing back to her. Everything was strange and grand, like nothing she'd ever seen before. She would have been more excited to see it if she had not, only minutes before, been standing atop a roof in Hueco Mundo. Somehow, in the middle of all the drama of Aizen's return to the human world and her friends' battles against the Arrancar, somewhere in the confusion, she had suddenly arrived outside a pair of gates, much taller than her head and made of ice. She had been asked her name and given some odd silver gadget, but she had responded with only half of her attention, her mind busy wondering where she was and who had put her here. Will Kurosaki-kun have to come after me again?
She turned back to the guard who had welcomed her to the city. "Excuse me, where am I?" But he was already taking the name of the next person in line. It was clear that she would have to go somewhere else. She moved aside, out of the way of the next person to enter the gates. She scrutinized the guards. She was usually quite good at reading people's thoughts and emotions, but these two escaped her. It was like they were flat, with only one function. The idea bewildered her, so she turned to the stall that held brochures. Maps, advertisements, and information on attractions spilled forth from the containers in every color imaginable. Orihime scooped a few of them into her hands before the pressure of new arrivals nudged her away from the booth. She looked down and examined the silver object she'd taken from the guard. What is this? She opened it, and a little stick fell out. She picked it up off the ground and twirled it in her fingers. It reminded her of a tiny chopstick. "Why would they give me only one chopstick? That's just silly." She tried to put it back in the slot where it had been, but it wouldn't fit. It took her a few more tries until she realized that she was putting it upside down. She shoved the stick back in and closed the gadget, placing it in her pocket. She had priorities. "I have to find someone who can tell me where I am." With determination in her eyes, Inoue forged ahead into the streets of Paixao, her mission of finding answers guiding her fearlessly forward.

Wolf nodded, “I’ll be happy to help fellow maidens such as yourselves!” he glided over to the side of the young girl. He smiled brightly at her, wanting to make sure that she can trust a man of his nature. Swiftly Wolf took out a beaten up map from his pocket and opened it up, it comically flopped over for it was a bit large when shown completely. Wolf grumbled with the map for a bit and then decided to just fold it to show where they were at currently, he placed his finger on the diamond in the middle of the Niflheim area and stated, “Ah, here we are, Niflheim, this is just part of one of the gates that enter Paixao.”

The scruffy man looked over the map thoroughly and looked around to properly indicate their surroundings. Wolf pointed to the different types of places in the area, “Over there is Cafe Ersesat, they have the most juiciest chicken sandwiches, and along this road if we keep going along here, we eventually reach City Hall.” He opened, but he had problems keeping it together since it was a rather large map, he jumbled with it, but decided to just hold it out in front of them. The map tumbled down to ground in front of them, but Wolf tried to play it off casually. “And uh…there are a lot of places, as you can see, but nothing too out of the ordinary from any other city,” Wolf said promptly before closing it.

Wolf then put his hands on his hips and addressed the ladies. “Now, there’s some places here you can stay, whatever living style you prefer, because money actually grows on trees here, so the cost doesn’t actually matter. Soooooo…any questions?”
