Homecoming (Complete)

Character(s): Naminé, Xion, Roxas, Timon, Simba, and Vyers
Content: Naminé brings Nobodies home
Setting: The apartment Naminé shares with Timon, Simba, and Vyers
Time: Week 19, early morning directly following this
Warnings: Angst. Lots of it.

At this rate, Naminé was going to end up grounded for life. She could still see the little characters on the screen if she squinted hard enough. Timon had sounded upset with her, but she couldn't figure out why. Fortunately or unfortunately, that didn't really matter right now. What did matter was getting Roxas home and safe. She didn't like to think of what the Organization would do to him if they found him. And that was why she was leading him back. Of course, bringing him meant bringing Xion, but she'd expected that. She could trust the other girl to keep the secret of Naminé's location, and her existence in general, away from the rest of the Organization. Xion wasn't like the others. She wasn't a monster with no feelings.

Taking a deep breath as she walked quietly up to the front door,
Naminé made sure it was unlocked and pushed it open. "We have to be quiet," she whispered to Roxas and Xion. "I know Timon's awake, but I don't want to make him upset."

Hopefully he'd be out right now and she could slip back in mostly unnoticed. Of course, whenever she did see him, she had a few things to talk to him about...

The scenery they passed on the way to Timon's apartment kept Roxas' eyes wide in wonder. The boy felt lost, surrounded on all sides by sparkling plant life, buildings that rose up toward a domed ceiling that felt like a sky, and the bustling traffic across cobblestone paved roads. He couldn't stop looking up at the myriad ironwork balconies and toward the rooftops, everything seemed to draw his attention toward that fake sky. It was impressive...to say the least.

He didn't speak as he walked behind the girls, though. There was too much to ask them, and he wasn't sure he'd like the answers anyway. He didn't know himself right now...that was obvious enough, from how they both acted. And...from how they both sounded...it might be better if he stayed that way for a while. He shouldn't have lost his memories at all, from how they were talking....but that didn't change the fact they were gone.

The boy tried to keep his footsteps quiet as he walked into the apartment after Xion.
