Vanaheim's Gate: Nasira Arrives
Character(s): Nasira, anyone
Content: Nasira wakes up at Vanaheim's Gate, confused and irate
Setting: Near Vanaheim's Gate
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: Some cursing
Could this get any more insane? Waking up in a foreign world was the last thing Nasira expected to happen after being attacked by a bunch of thieves. Even when it seemed she had to upper hand, everything collapsed as if she just died on the spot. The last thing she saw were the theives running in the other direction and then her vision failed her and so did all the other senses. Nothing else was remembered, Agrabah was gone and never seen again. After waking up on a patch of fake grass, instinct told her to look around. Beautiful, yet fake, vegetation surrounded the area. Materials of all kinds made up the scene, allowing each plant its own beauty, some woven with gems to reflect the sunlight, giving a glow. Was it the same sun that watched over Agrabah? The atmosphere seemed normal, but what was amazing were the large domes. Their size seemed to have no limit and it appeared to have the majority of the world inside the titanic walls. It was nothing short of stunning.
Damn, maybe one of her spells backfired or something.
Nasira got up and found a line of people leading to a gate on a dome wall that swallowed the end of the line. The gate, itself had two large trees on each side, each with some fruit. All fake of course. Finding that she wasn't going to get any answers here, Nasira reluctantly joined the line, arms crossed. The people in the line seemed to be just as confused as her, heads looking in all directions, taking in the new surrounding features. The line moved at an acceptable speed and before she knew it, Nasira came face to face with a gatekeeper. After seeing countless people asking the same damn question she wanted to ask, the sorceress knew she wasn't going to get an answer out of this guy, for he just went to the next person after handing each one an electric journal. Ignoring every single question. Shit, she was screwed.
"Welcome to Paixao. May I ask for your name?" the guard asked, as if he rehearsed this line thousands of times. Yeah, it was pretty clear she wasn't getting an explanation. This was probably the only sentence the guard could say.
"Nasira." she said, obviously pissed off. Without looking at it, Nasira took the journal offered to her and stepped inside the gate, not even bothering to look back at the sky behind her. Once inside the domes, she noticed the beautiful architecture that seemed ancient. The ceiling was marked with paintings of demons and angelic creatures fighting an endless battle, bloodstained angels falling from each demon's claw. The 'sun' painted on there, shone bright as the one in Agrabah. What sort of paints could mimic the sun's blinding power? Or the moving clouds that hung overhead? Sighing, she decided to explore a bit and headed in the direction of the city hall, though she did not know it.
All of the people she knew in Agrabah disappeared, one by one, including her own brother. Could he be here too? This place may answer more than just the question she had on her mind, moments ago.

Genie carefully opened the back of his camera and snapped in a new roll of film. Tempted as he was to get into the picture, he was forced to restrain himself and chose only to capture the gate and the line of many visitors who waited to pass through it. He knew if he were in the photo it would distract the viewer too greatly from the illusion he wished to convey… Just like someone else that happened to catch his eye in the shot just before he snapped the photograph.
“Jafar?”
He lowered his camera and looked at the entrance where he had only caught a glimpse of sorceress before she had entered the city. No, it couldn’t have been him, could it? Genie shook his head. Maybe he was just imagining things – but what if he wasn’t?! The city would be in terrible danger. He had to investigate. Without a moment to spare, the genie flew after the sorceress and back into the city.
“Excuse me,” he asked, giving Nasira a gentle tap on the when he got close enough. “I was just wondering if I could ask you a question.”

"Excuse me,I was just wondering if I could ask you a question.”
Nasira turned around as quick as lightning to find a blue djinn with a camera. Suspicion took over once the djinn requested the question. Could it be? Was this Aladdin's genie? It seemed like forever since she had last seen him around, but she was almost certain that this was the one. But she could be mistaken anyway. It has been a while after all. And there didn't seem to be any way to prove it. But still, the awful feeling inside made her wonder. If this was the same genie that assisted Aladdin, she might be in trouble. Would Aladdin be around as well? That would just spoil everything. Nasira was not in the mood to fight the street rat, for now. First, she needed to find out if she could locate her brother.
Arms crossed and eyes narrowed in pure suspicion. Might as well let the djinn ask his question. It wasn't like she was in any hurry.
"Go ahead, I'm listening." she responded, not taking her eyes off the blue figure. Did he recognize her?

“I’m sorry,” he said after a moment spent to recover from the shock. “You just took me by surprise there. You look familiar, very familiar to someone I know.” The genie explained, eyes scanning the sorceress over once again in thought. Yes, very familiar indeed. He narrowed his eyes. “Suspiciously familiar… And like him, you look a lot better from ‘ja far’ too!” Unable to contain himself, he threw his head back and laughed. Oh, hilarious! He hadn’t used that one of awhile. He looked back Nasira with a smile only to find, perhaps, his joke had not been as funny as he had originally thought.
Actually, he hadn’t even realized what he had said until now and how she may have taken offence to it. He threw his hands over his mouth in an effort to silence his laughter. He hoped Nasira hadn’t been offended. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Genie apologized. “I really don’t mean to offend you… But when you give Cher her costume back can you get her autograph for me?” Actually, now that he thought about, she looked an awful lot like Cher. Maybe she was some sort of stage double? “That is, if you’re strong enough.” He added.

“You just took me by surprise there. You look familiar, very familiar to someone I know.” he had said after calming down a bit. "Suspiciously familiar… And like him, you look a lot better from ‘ja far’ too!” Throwing his head back and laughing, Nasira's eyes narrowed. That went too far. She held the urge to strike him back. After a moment passed, the genie apologized and said something about Cher. Who was Cher? It really didn't matter. Not hearing the rest of what the genie said due to a rather apathetic attitude towards the subject at that point, Nasira crossed her arms and looked away for a second. Whether it was because of embarrassment or rage, no one knew. Probably a combination of both.
"I'm Jafar's sister." she finally answered, ice on her voice. "And I don't have time for this." She then turned to walk away. Forget this, she had to find her brother. If he was even around...

“Oh.” Genie quickly fell silent at Nasira’s words. He didn’t know she was Jafar’s sister. Why, he never knew the sorcerer had any siblings at all! Then again, it wasn’t exactly the sort of thing that came up in conversation with someone seeking power and in the end control of the universe. Unless of course it was some sort of sibling rivalry but the djinn did not feel as though such was the case here. Still, he could certainly see the resemblance between the two. She’d have to be his sister with a face as ugly as that. The genie bit his tongue to hold further comments from outburst.
No doubt feeling guilt for offending Nasira, the genie flew after her and zipped in front of her to block her path. “Oh, you must have time for a quick makeover. I mean, that dress! So dark, so depressing. What are we trying to say here, witch? No. I won’t have it! Darling, we need glamour, we need glitz, we need… sequins! Oh, you gotta let me use sequins. Trust me, you’ll look absolutely fabulous. Eddy and Patsy will have nothing on you.”

"Thanks, but no." she said, attempting to pass by. Damn, this guy doesn't know when to give up. He was almost as bad as Aladdin at times! And that street rat never gave up.
And what was she? A princess?! Not going to happen. Her outfit was fine and it was staying that way, even if she had to blast some common sense into genie with her staff. What was with him? Didn't he have the sense to stay away from a villain?
OOC: Sorry for short reply, kinda tired xD

Once again, the genie cut Nasira off by blocking her path. “What about a quick manicure then?” he asked and reached for one of her hands. “Those nails are starting to look like claws. What are we, a werewolf? One does want a hint of a color! Please, you have to let me do something. You’re a fashion nightmare – no offence.”
[ooc: Mines even shorter so who am I to judge? DX]

"Listen, if I wanted to change my looks, I would have done it a long time ago. Another thing, you must be insane for wanting to mess with me,
especially when I suddenly wake up in a world much worse than your idea of a fashion nightmare!" she snapped. Back turned and arms crossed. "Besides, like I said, I have no time for this."
This was not going to end well. She couldn't even get past the Vanaheim gate without someone interfering. Why was Genie trying so hard? It was just weird. Even Aladdin wouldn't dare do something like this, he'd sooner run away, which was something he would probably not do when it came to her.

The djinn turned away from the sorceress and whistled innocently before adding, “It’s not like you have anywhere else to go anyway.”

Why did I get into this mess?
“It’s not like you have anywhere else to go anyway.” the Genie then said.
"What's that supposed to mean?! Is there no way out of this place?" Nasira asked, eyes widened a bit. If that were the case, then she better get used to Paixao.

“Of course there’s a way out. You just walked through it. But that’s just a way out of the city, not back to Agrabah. No one’s quite sure how to return to their world, though I know many have. They’ve even returned back here! Couldn’t tell you how they did that though. There’s been a lot of talk of doors to new worlds: one an island the other called ‘Halloween Town’. I haven’t been to them myself but they very well may be key to returning to our own world.” The genie flashed Nasira a wide smile. “In the mean time though you should look into settling down, taking in the sights and sounds of Paixao... It really is an enjoyable place. Think of it as a much needed vacation. You weren’t in the middle of anything too terribly important before you arrived here anyway, were you?”
