What, we all wonder, is a goddess' weakness? [Active]

Character(s): Xemnas, Urd
Content: In the early night air, the Superior takes a peek into the memories of a certain goddess.
Setting: ....some city streets.
Time: Early evening
Warnings: Scheming? lol. Angry goddess? IDK.

There was always work to be done in regards to Paixao, in regards to the people; and certainly they had a variety of such to take into account. One could never be too sure what they had to work with in terms of specimens, and as a blossom of darkness broke away in the night air, depositing that of the Superior, Xemnas was determined to find out.

At least, of course, one of the more enigmatic of specimens.

Gods and goddesses, they had few. They did well at drawing attention to themselves, but he would continue to brush off the more.. active of sorts and lean towards that of the female called Urd.

Cloaked in black, with only a smirk revealed beneath the hood of his robe, Xemnas once again graces the streets. There is nothing subtle about this night, but the goddess would surely not be able to notice him right away, for wherever it was she stood, she was surrounded by Sorcerer Nobodies.

Urd had been enjoying the crisp evening air and the scenic view of the city from her rooftop garden at Iriela Apartments. She called it a garden but it was really more a meticulously manicured landscape of trees and flowers and some plants only Urd and Belldandy seemed to know anything about. Perched on a large, flat boulder under a blossoming cherry tree, she watched the light of the day dim with contemplative silence. Truthfully, her mind had been occupied lately about a variety of matters: her sister and her separation from the man she loved, the demons who were grieving for a lost loved one...and, as usual, Genie was never far from her mind. Lips curved into a small self-deprecating smirk, she lowered her head and sighed.

When she lifted her head again, she found she wasn't alone.

Biting off an unladylike curse, Urd immediately flew up, through the branches of the tree shading her, scattering delicate cherry blossoms. How had she not sensed them!? There were at least six, whatever they were. She may not have known where they came from or what they were, but she had enough instinct to know they weren't a good thing. In the few seconds since they arrived and Urd had leaped high into the air, she crossed her arms and summoned her magic. Electricity crackled around her and lightening split the sky, arcing down to the ground to hopefully shock the ghostly figures coming towards her...

...but things were never that easy. Translucent cubes appeared out of nowhere to shield the creatures, turning red briefly. Some kind of magic barrier? Oh, that was not good. The bulk of her prowess in a fight came down to significant magical power -- she had very few options for a strictly physical showdown. Perhaps it was a simple case of degree...a more powerful spell would be more effective, surely.

Staying still wasn't an option, she knew that much. Urd quickly darted from her spot in the sky, heading down to the roof once more to dodge whatever attacks came her way.
