Little Girl Lost [Active, Open]

Character(s): NiGHTS, open to anyone else (thread set-up will be similar to "party" posts, so if you want your characters to interact along with NiGHTS, please include them in the same thread ♥)
Content: NiGHTS looks for Yuna.
Setting: The entire city of Paixao, but mostly Cea de Mouraria and City Hall later on.
Time: Late morning, week six
Warnings: None yet.

NiGHTS, being who he was, seldom felt like being on any side whatsoever. On the occasions that he did, however, it was usually the good side these days (evil, as NiGHTS had discovered countless years ago, was usually strict and therefore boring) - and now was no different. His new friend, Belle, was worried about her room mate, Yuna - and although NiGHTS and Yuna had never met, he was in a helpful sort of mood right now and therefore more likely to do something about it. He'd idled these past few days after setting up an alert to see what happened, and was intrigued by the replies he'd gotten.

So it was today that he flew, searching about the city... until he came to the Cea de Mouraria. He remembered Auron mentioning it, but he hadn't quite been expecting the state it was in. Sure, the opera house was being repaired, but there were clear signs that a large battle had taken place in the area. NiGHTS pouted for a moment and crossed his arms; maybe he should have gone to the party after all.

Oh, well. He'd check City Hall once he was finished with this area. Hopefully, there would be signs of the poor girl somewhere around Paixao.

Braska was doing his best to keep his feelings from showing on his face. It was at times like this--especially at times like this--that he had to stay strong. Yuna was counting on him, and, while the people who had decided to help may not be looking to him, he still felt that he had to keep his fear from showing. Maybe it was just something that remained from his time on the pilgrimage.

"The library?" Braska asked. "I should stop by there myself sometime. I have yet to visit it, and I've been here for quite awhile." It would be nice to take a day to spend some time at the library and get his mind off of things for awhile.

Braska couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Obviously, to say the young woman took pleasure in her reading would be an understatement. That or the books in there were truly something to be admired. He would definitely take a look, he decided, if only to satisfy his curiosity. "I hope she managed to make it wherever she was going all right," he said with an amused smile. "I can only how difficult that must have been."

Braska chuckled. It was good to hear that she had made it there safely. Perhaps those feats were common for her. The young woman must have read quite a bit.

A frown appeared on Braska's face for an instant as the question was asked, but was hidden away almost as quickly. He could only say what he had seen and heard of her in his recent meeting. "She is strong, persistent, and kind. She has grown up into a fine young woman, and she cares deeply about those around her," he explained, "Although... so much has happened to her."

"But that is her story to tell, I think." He shook his head and smiled. "And I imagine she could tell it better than I could."

Braska glanced over at NiGHTS confusedly, having heard his comment to himself. "How can you tell?" he asked. Strange... Was that why NiGHTS had wanted to know what Yuna was like?

He smiled back at the Nightmaren's assurances. "You're right. We need only keep searching." They would find her and punish the one who had kidnapped her.

What a curious ability. He had never heard of anything like that before, but he was more than thankful for it. It would definitely be of use in finding Yuna. "At least there is that."

"You are able to sense traits?" Braska finally asked. "I've never heard of such a thing before."

Braska nodded. He was a little disappointed that NiGHTS wouldn't tell him, but now wasn't quite the time for such explanations and if NiGHTS didn't want to tell him, Braska wasn't going to force him. "If you need to search somewhere else..." He trailed off, deciding to put it a different way "Don't feel as though you have to stay with me."

Braska shook his head. "I only wish I did. I know nothing beyond what Auron has told me. Have you gotten any information from him?" he asked. The man always had preferred to keep to himself. Auron had his reasons, Braska knew, but it could be frustrating sometimes, especially in situations like these.

"That is what he told me as well. I worry what he might do, though I cannot claim to understand what sort of grudge he holds toward Auron." The High Summoner sighed and shook his head. "I doubt Auron himself knows." What lengths would this God of the Dead go to in order to carry out his grudge? He wanted desperately to be able to put the pieces together, but with what he had now, it was impossible. He wondered whether or not they would be able to get any information from the god himself.

Braska looked away a moment, trying to figure out exactly what he wanted to say. "He is not one in Spira. Spira... operates under different rules," he finally decided. "Ones that many seem to find rather strange, if what happened with Sin here is any indication." He looked ahead thoughtfully, "I do not think we have anything like Hades in Spira. Not... quite like him, in any case."
