Little Girl Lost [Active, Open]
Character(s): NiGHTS, open to anyone else (thread set-up will be similar to "party" posts, so if you want your characters to interact along with NiGHTS, please include them in the same thread ♥)
Content: NiGHTS looks for Yuna.
Setting: The entire city of Paixao, but mostly Cea de Mouraria and City Hall later on.
Time: Late morning, week six
Warnings: None yet.
NiGHTS, being who he was, seldom felt like being on any side whatsoever. On the occasions that he did, however, it was usually the good side these days (evil, as NiGHTS had discovered countless years ago, was usually strict and therefore boring) - and now was no different. His new friend, Belle, was worried about her room mate, Yuna - and although NiGHTS and Yuna had never met, he was in a helpful sort of mood right now and therefore more likely to do something about it. He'd idled these past few days after setting up an alert to see what happened, and was intrigued by the replies he'd gotten.
So it was today that he flew, searching about the city... until he came to the Cea de Mouraria. He remembered Auron mentioning it, but he hadn't quite been expecting the state it was in. Sure, the opera house was being repaired, but there were clear signs that a large battle had taken place in the area. NiGHTS pouted for a moment and crossed his arms; maybe he should have gone to the party after all.
Oh, well. He'd check City Hall once he was finished with this area. Hopefully, there would be signs of the poor girl somewhere around Paixao.

It was, at least, a relief that he wasn't the only one searching. There was Auron, of course, and he had noticed that Jecht was looking as well (he would have to thank him later), Belle, and then there was that NiGHTS fellow he had spoken with over the journals. It was good to see so many willing to help.

Leave it to NiGHTS to remain cheerful, even when a crisis might be brewing.

"I must thank you again for taking the time to search for her. I am... worried, to be honest. Have you met with any success?" he asked, his eyes filling with hope. NiGHTS could fly, could he not? Surely he must have seen something of note.
no subject
"Don't worry about it!" That why NiGHTS was here and flying about, wasn't it. He thought for a moment. "No," he answered slowly, "but then again, I've only just begun to look. I'm planning on searching most of the city, anyway."
no subject
"I must thank you again for doing this," Braska said. "It is good to have eyes above to help us search. How far have you gotten in your search?" He could at least narrow down his own search that way.
no subject
"No problem!" NiGHTS responded with a bow. "I promised Belle I would, anyway." He thought for a moment. "Hm, not far," came the reply. "I've just started searching this area, and this is the first place I've looked." Yuna had to be around the city somewhere, NiGHTS was sure.

"I should meet with her once all of this is over," Braska decided. "She seems like a very kind girl."
The high summoner sighed and nodded. "I see... If you do find anything, please tell me. It would mean..." Everything. "It would mean a lot to me."
no subject
Even with Braska's attempt at subtlety, NiGHTS could see the worry and fear written all over his face. Seeing all these people worrying was... well, it was starting to make NiGHTS wonder about this girl. Whoever Yuna was, she meant a lot to these people. "We'll find her," he told Braska. "Don't worry."
no subject
"The library?" Braska asked. "I should stop by there myself sometime. I have yet to visit it, and I've been here for quite awhile." It would be nice to take a day to spend some time at the library and get his mind off of things for awhile.

We'll find Yuna, all right, NiGHTS thought. And when that happens, Hades won't know what hit him. Besides, Hades was hilarious when he was angry.

Speaking of which... "Hey," NiGHTS replied, "what's Yuna like, anyway?" If she had any of the Ideya, NiGHTS could theoretically help track her down - but he wasn't sure he wanted to bother with explaining the Ideya.

A frown appeared on Braska's face for an instant as the question was asked, but was hidden away almost as quickly. He could only say what he had seen and heard of her in his recent meeting. "She is strong, persistent, and kind. She has grown up into a fine young woman, and she cares deeply about those around her," he explained, "Although... so much has happened to her."
"But that is her story to tell, I think." He shook his head and smiled. "And I imagine she could tell it better than I could."
no subject
He nodded at Braska, smiling. "Don't worry," he replied, "we'll find her!" Hades definitely wouldn't harm her, not from what he'd seen, and they were already working on finding the girl. It shouldn't take much longer, now.
no subject
He smiled back at the Nightmaren's assurances. "You're right. We need only keep searching." They would find her and punish the one who had kidnapped her.
no subject
"She can't have been taken out of the city," said the maren, "since there's not much outside of here." Which was boring, but NiGHTS could deal with it.
no subject
"You are able to sense traits?" Braska finally asked. "I've never heard of such a thing before."
no subject
"Anyway," NiGHTS continued, "she's got to show up somewhere..."

All that information just screamed 'abduction' but Karrin had no clues or culprits.
She sighed and continued walking down the street. About all she could do right now was keep her eyes peeled for a clue. She belatedly realized that Harry could probably use a tracking spell...but she remembered that Harry said those were tricky on humans cause they changed so much.
Karrin would keep it in mind though, if she got desperate. In the mean time, she continued walking and looking, not paying attention to anyone who might be flying over her.

Karrin hated being caught off guard.
It was then that she recognized this as one of the people she had spoken to about Yuna, "Yes, I'm Sgt. Karrin Murphy. Any news on Yuna yet?"
no subject
"I'm NiGHTS!" he greeted, cheerful as ever despite the situation. "And no, I haven't found anything regarding Yuna yet - but there's definitely something suspicious about this building." He gestured to the opera house. "I'm not surprised, since it's where Hades held his party."
no subject
Karrin turned to look at the building, "Does this building have anything to do with Yuna? I'm really not here to admire architecture or talk about some guy's party."
