A Genie and a Goddess Walk Into A Bar... [Complete]

Character(s): Urd, Genie
Content: Urd goes house hunting and hangs out with Genie
Setting: ...kind of all over the place?
Time: Afternoon, Week 6
Warnings: None!

High above the roofs of the city's buildings, Urd floated in place. She was nearly touching the intricately painted and engineered dome sky. She scanned the streets and houses below before lowering her altitude slightly, flying forward.

Where would be a good place to set up a home away from home? She wanted to be in the heart of all the action, but the action seemed spread throughout the city. It was a shame she couldn't live up here somehow. She'd be able to keep her eye on everything that way.

Urd smiled to herself, long white hair streaming out behind her as she flew. A tall building would do. Perhaps one of the more expensive looking hotels? Even without any faux foliage or real money, she had confidence enough in charming her way in. And she could always lie a little...if she really wanted.

And if she found herself next to some of the interesting people she'd already come across over the journals, that would be even better.

Big old blue really was nothing but a softy. Not that it bothered him, he had simply never thought about it being obvious before. Though he could easily say he knew when to put his foot down… Sort of. He was only considerably stern when he was mad and that took either a lot of something or something incredibly low. He doubted, however, that the goddesses plan was out to get him upset with the comment and ultimately have him join ‘the dark side’ or something to such extent.

He brought his hands back in front of his own face, looking curiously at his now bare wrists (save for his golden ‘shackles’; a memento of his previous life) before glancing back at Urd with interest. The rest of his prison uniform disappeared shortly after. He tapped his finger against his lips in thought before replying to her, considering the mentioned system. It sounded like a lot of work to keep up, but definitely worth it if it truly did maintain balance.

“Makes sense. Too bad it didn’t work the same with all potential threats. You know witches, genies, sorcerers, other gods… I can think of quite a few who’d be in some serious trouble. Who are in serious trouble.” Genie folded his arms across his chest and frowned. “As for you, I don’t want to think of the sort of trouble you could get into.” He added, teasingly.
