New Buisness Model, or Cunning Plot? You Decide! (Active, Very Open)
Character(s): Hanekoma, OPEN
Content: Hey, Hanekoma is handing out free portraits that may or may not be the key to adventure and freedom. You should stop by!
Setting: Wild Kat Coffee, Paixao Branch
Time: Few days after the discovery of what's behind the door in the chapel, all throughout the day.
Warnings: None!
Notes: See the Week Change for more details about this thread.
Hanekoma had to admit, the Doctor's plan certainly was a creative one, and as much as he was not normally the type to get too involved in local conflicts, this one had managed to catch his attention. The fact that it let him stretch his artistic muscles was also a real bonus.
Therefore, he had placed a sign in the window, promising free portraits for ever cup of coffee purchased. Hey, it helped clue people into a chance to exploring new parts of the world, let him get back into shape artistically, and sell some more coffee in the deal. It really was a win for everyone!

"Susan," she corrected, almost on reflex. She'd never had a nickname before, and she certainly wasn't going to accept what he was offering in place of a perfectly good and functional name.

Once the portrait was dry he rested it on the counter and casually suggested, "There you are, why don't you have a look?"

As for the painting, well... it was certainly interesting. Both for the way it looked as well as the way it seemed to be suggesting something. But maybe she'd find something of use that way. After all, she had manged to find anything useful so far.
"It's not bad."

"So, and this is only if you don't mind me asking, where are you from?"
The longer Susan stared at the painting, the more the mystical threads of the painting seemed to bleed together, forming a picture of an abandoned church, and the portal within it, in the woman's mind. While the physical painting never changed, the image in her mind soon became as clear as day.

All the same, she didn't expect him to be familiar with her home. But the question did deserve an answer.
