Foundation Day Festival: At the Entrance
Character(s): everyone entering the festival by the gate
Content: weapons confiscation, greetings, etc.
Setting: Joco da Crianca Fairgrounds, entrance
Time: all day~
Warnings: Multithreaded posting format (please include time of day and sub-location in your comment's subject line)
For the festival, the Jogo da Crianca fairgrounds have been ringed by a modular eight-foot-tall iron-bar fence. Signs all around the vicinity point to the entrance, which is the only large gap in the fence. Because this is Paixao, there is a line to get in, but it moves quickly.
At the front of the line is a small security team; as people enter, they are asked to check their weapons or dangerous items with festival staff. Once unarmed, they are given a receipt to pick up their items on the way out, as well as one complimentary raffle ticket, and are allowed to proceed into the fairgrounds.
Just inside the entrance are two tents, one labeled "SECURITY / LOST AND FOUND," and the other labeled with "FIRST AID" and a large red cross.

Re: In line - Around 10 AM
They were asking for weapons it seemed, and Itachi was willing to assure them that he carried none. He could prove it, too, for he had left the very pouches Naruto had wanted to hide back in the hotel room. The Uchiha saw no reason to carry what he didn't know how to use. It was just extra weight, and he didn't really want to have it getting in the way.
Once through the entrance, Itachi caught up with Naruto. "I wonder why they don't want anyone to have weapons," he commented, voice soft so as not to draw attention. "It seems very paranoid for a festival."
Re: In line - Around 10 AM
Those were thoughts he definitely did not want to dwell on, it would dampen his spirits and he was here to have some fun, damnit! So without further ado he just grinned at Itachi and started bouncing off to where the smell of food came from but not before ducking behind a tent and lifting his jutsu. He'd be on guard but that didn't mean he couldn't go enjoy himself.
Re: In line - Around 10 AM
"Naruto? Do you think we'll run into Sasuke while we're here?" he asked as he kept step with the blond shinobi. If there was such a possibility, he would want to be on his guard. After all, the boy seemed rather eager to put a knife through his throat, something Itachi wasn't at all fond of.
