Sanity Meets a Double Dose of Insanity [Completed]
Character(s): Bakura Ryou, Udou Akira
Content: Bakura and Akira finally end up on the "cheaper" side of Paixao at Auntie Unde's. Akira gets clothes and a journal and Bakura gets project supplies.
Setting: Auntie Unde's
Time: week2, early afternoon
Warnings: none...really, except Auntie Unde being bizarre and scaring Bakura.
The walk was quicker than he thought it would be, but still exhausting. He did manage it fairly well, even with the getting tired part. Only a few stumbles over his own feet. Bakura still didn’t like the fact that he was so clumsy. Nearly face-planting on cobblestones was NOT the best way of getting somewhere. He looked up at the run-down looking store. This was not anything like what he was used to. It was no wonder that this end of town was considered the “least expensive”..everything was more crude. The whole nature didn’t look like someone had put as much effort into it as they did in Muspelheim. He glanced at Akira. “Well…this is the store…”

Oh, good. Akira thought that was far preferable to having to then find another place to change. Leaving the changing room, he folded the pants and put them back on the shelf, and then headed over to look at the journals. They all looked to be in pretty good condition, and he picked out a green one, turning it over in his hands to check for scratches and then flicking it open.
Weird little things, far more compact than the computers back home, but there didn't seem to be a lot of technology around in Paixao. Ah well, he could think about that another day. Akira went over to where Bakura was.
"Ready to go?" He asked.

He paused, glancing at his bag. "I forgot to ask for their name, but someone you know wanted to see you. They left a message on my journal."
He looked at Auntie Unde, who had somewhat followed Akira back towards the front of the store. He held out cards, "Can I use these to pay?"
Auntie Unde looked over the cards, "Yes." She took them and slipped them into a pouch behind the counter. She made a note that maybe she could sell them to one of her friends who owned the pawnshop or maybe as a donation to the Matteus Museum of Art. The artwork on the cards was just simply wonderful. She glanced at Bakura. "Who made the cards?"
Bakura grinned, "Pegasus J. Crawford. A businessman where I'm from."
