Waiting, Wishes, and a discussion of The Wild World Beyond [completed]
Characters: Bakura and npcs Tori and various nurses(likely Heather and Lisa)
Content: Bakura waiting for his release orders, Tori giving Bakura a few items to help him out and spouting off bits from The Wind in the Willows in an (almost delusional) attempt to get Bakura to stay in the present in Paixao. Bakura trying to explain to Tori that the world ISN'T black-and-white like she thinks it is. And the usual with Lisa and Heather.
Setting:Paradisio Hospital
Time: a little after midday Sunday
Warnings: Bakura being a bit of an angst bucket and overexaggerating....(shall we say Oh!Drama!) XD
Bakura stood by the window. He had long since finished what he guessed qualified as lunch and was off the machines, simply waiting for a doctor to sign release orders. He hadn't been told he couldn't get up and he wanted to see what Nurse Gayle had been looking at much earlier. He once again had his journal open, his hair a little tussled from sleeping so much and stood by the window looking at people in fanciful outfits walking in the streets below, rickshaws, and the architecture and the sky with nothing less than a childish awe.
He was assured of his liking to this place, although it seemed that very few shared his enthusiasm, as indicated by various messages posted through the journal network and that person's comment in his journal saying it was a first to enjoy being here. Everyone he had met was nice and helpful. It was a welcome change to meet such a wonderously designed place full of friendly faces rather than the cruelty he was almost accustomed to that seemed to partially fill Domino.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair and looking at the bandage on his arm. It hurt a little still, but he could get used to it. He went back to sit on the edge of the bed to wait more.

Tori (http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j79/WhiteWzrdBakura/npc/8952e349.jpg) was standing outside Bakura's room. She was wearing an orange dress with green ribbons and pink eyelet-embroidered fabric as the trim. On her head was a sage "lady's hat" tipped cheerfully on her curls. In her arms, she held a bundle of sky blue cloth with Despereaux sitting on top. Needless to say, while the combination matched, it looked about as ridiculous as the cranberry one.
She reached out and knocked on the door before pushing it open, "Bakura?"

He put it on the bedside table and returned to sitting as patiently as possible. He heard the knock on the door and turned his head when he heard a soft voice address him.
He looked the girl over and spotted the mouse. "Hi Tori. What are you doing here?"
