What was with this place? Walking towards a large heap of rubble, one that looked oddly like several building melted together -- Axel found himself staring up at a familiar sight... though it wasn't a particularly comforting one. At the top of the pile, stood a clock tower. Yeah -- that clock tower. The one that should have been in Twilight Town. The one he'd spent many afternoons hanging out on top of, from a much more carefree time.

Everything... had just gotten so complicated since then. It was just like this world. There were things where they shouldn't be -- stuff that didn't belong all coming together -- and even more things that were missing. Xigbar made no move to follow the Nobody. Instead he merely crossed his arms and watched as Axel walked away. Surely that wasn’t all he had to say. Missing members, collapsed cities, they concerned the Organization and its members, including the very world that they were in. True, the Flurry of Dancing Flames rarely showed much interest in their conflicts but regardless how distant Axel could be, for him to say nothing simply did not seem right. Something was off.

The Nobody watched his colleague closely. Nothing seemed irregular from his words but rather his actions. Xigbar had been brushed off before but this particular time seemed different. Either he had been in a hurry to get somewhere or looking for someone he did not want Xigbar to know about. He was willing to wager that he knew who…

Finally, he spoke up. Axel having only walked a few steps away. “Guess you’ve heard ‘bout Roxas then, huh? Tch, as if. I come all this way and it’s for nothing.”
