Welcome to my evil lair, mwuhahahaha! [COMPLETE]
Character(s): Yuuri and Mao
Content: Yuuri kidnapped Mao and wants to ask him some questions
Setting: A random rented house
Time: Early in the week.
Warnings: Yuuri. Kidnapped. Mao. Nuff said.
For everyone in Paixao, she simply looked like a normal, standard Paixaoan woman making her way home after a day of work. She carried home two bags of groceries and greeted her new neighbors as she made her way to her front door. Things changed radically once inside though, as the woman seemed to melt down, only to reform herself as Yuuri. It was the perfect disguise, really. No one knew who she was in the city, and no one would ever suspect a normal house rented by an “upstanding member of society-slash-not an outsider” to be hiding a magical prison.
For the last few days, Mao, a kid who claimed he was a demon, had been stuck behind an explosive force field in her basement. She still didn’t believe that he was a demon, but she had seen him use magic, something that should have been impossible for a boy. And thus, Mao saw himself get promoted from “crazy kid” to “object of interest”. She tried to call for Kyubey to ask him why he made a contract with him... but strangely, he never came.
This was starting to worry her. Things were different here. She’s been here for less than a week, and yet nothing made sense. Kyubey wasn’t here, boys could use magic... witches seemed to be nonexistent, and worst of all; she couldn’t find one trace of the Pleiades. She was certain that this was just a trap by those girls, and yet, she wasn’t able to find them. While she was sure that her stunt on the message board wouldn’t have lured them out, she had expected the citizens to at least recognise her! But no, no one had ever heard of them. She even took walks, magically disguised as them much to her disgust, and... nothing: no one knew who they were, and they never showed themselves.
She had one final trick up her sleeve to lure them out, but the effects wouldn’t be felt immediately. Oh well... that kid had been down there for a few days now, maybe it was finally time to pay him a visit. She probably should go feed him too while she was at it.

As the hours had worn on and on Mao reminded himself that he just had to wait until he he could get information out of her. After a good interrogation he could fight his way out of this damn basement. And he didn't have to worry as much about holding back, either (or that's what he assumed).
Of course, that had been two days ago. She had taken her sweet time actually coming down here, and Mao was starting to get pissed. At least he had some time to get a good look at that barrier and run a couple tests, as well as make some notes.

She stared at him for a few minutes before she quickly created a breach in the force field, tossing in some bread and a bottle of water before closing it off again. She only spoke when she was certain that she would be safe.
"How did you make a contract with him?"
no subject
"I don't know what 'contract' you're talking about," he said around a large bite of bread. So... it might not have been quite so understandable.
"Why don't you give me some information first and then I'll answer what questions you got."
no subject
"Don't play dumb with me. How did you get your magic? Only girls can contract with Kyubey!" she finally said after contemplating him for a few moments. 'Information'? What was he talking about? He was the one with the information.
no subject
Mao paused. "So how exactly does he give magic to people anyway? How do these 'contracts' work?" This was actually getting kind of interesting.
no subject
"Don't play dumb with me!" she snapped, for a second looking as if she was ready to summon her guns but decided against it. Though okay... maybe he didn't know Kyubey, after all the Pleiades didn't seem to know him either, they had someone else with them. "How else would you have gotten magic, boy? You made a contract, and I want to know why?! He specifically said it was only 'magical girls'!"
no subject
Mao cupped his chin, his foot tapping against the floor as he thought. So she thought he was a "magical boy" then? He couldn't even begin to think about how wrong that was. "I didn't get magic from anyone. How many times do I have to tell you I'm a demon before it gets into your thick skull?!"
...He wondered what she used to transform.
no subject
"Demons don't exist!" she snarled back, her face twisting slightly. "Only certain bitches who act like demons do!"
no subject
A wicked grin spread across his face. "And when I'm working on that, I won't even have to ask how you transform. I'll just find whatever magical device you use while you're on the table. I bet it's some kind of locket or pen."
no subject
This time the shots were aimed straight at Mao's arms and legs. Two more guns appeared out of nowhere to shot darts at the kid. She was completely mad at this point.
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP! You will answer ME or I'll end this right here!" As much as she wanted answers, they weren't necessary to her grand scheme. "Demons do not exist, you are simply a freak of nature! Now answer me! Why did they allowed you to gain this!? What was so important that they would break their own rules?! Are you working with those bitches!"
Ahh, now there was the question...
no subject
"Anyway, you're just looking for the answers you want! Stop blaming me for not knowing what you're talking about!" Damn it... He was probably bleeding, wasn't he?
no subject
Nothing made sense around here. They were in a trap made by the Pleiades but... nothing made sense. Could it be that something else had happened that day? Did she know what she was talking about?
No... it was impossible.
"The girls that call themselves the Pleiades, she ones that brought me here, where are they!" she demanded, her stare cold as ice. "If you don't know, then I'll consider you useless!"
no subject
But leaving now meant that he wouldn't be able to get more information out of her, would he? Not that she was saying a lot.
On the other hand... some information could always be gotten through a fight. This was a tough choice.
Mao stuffed his hands into the pockets of his shorts and scoffed. "Well what do they look like? Do you know how many people are here? It's not like everyone gives their name."
He pressed a button on a device in his pocket.
no subject
Wait, she was starting to think like this kid now. Dammit, she needed to get him out of her face.
She thought about her options for a few moments before she suddenly started bubbling up and melting before Mao. It took a few seconds before she reformed, transforming herself into another girl. She did this six more times, for six other girls.
She didn't want to reveal her powers yet... but it's not like she was planning on letting him go.

Why was he so interested in how it worked? It was magic, that's all. She wished to be someone else, thus her powers allowed her to become anyone she desired. It was only that... then why...
"You... really don't know?" For a slip second there, it was almost as if she was an entirely different person than the permanently angry woman she had become. She was confused, very confused.
Was he truly just a demon?
no subject
Unless he was missing something... He couldn't be missing anything, could he?
no subject
Yeah, at this point it was obvious that he had never made a contract to get his powers. She still didn't understand how demons were possible but for the moment it didn't matter.
His reaction to her transformations told it all... he had no idea who these girls were... he was just interested in watching her transformed like some sort of otaku pervert. She was a bit curious about his so-called demonic powers, and trying to get more information about just what the heck was going on around here but...
He knew too much.
And he was annoying as hell.
"It is not important for people about to die to know these things!"
no subject
It was magic, right? Some kind of seal or symbol or something? The barrier might not have been the same kind of magic, but maybe it was just close enough for... Yes. Yes, he just needed to wait for them to arrive and--
A loud crash sounded from upstairs, followed by metallic clacking and clanking and several smaller crashes. "Heheh... Sounds to me like you have bigger problems on your hands. My back-up has just arrived!"
no subject
The boy could wait, anyway, it's not like he could escape the barrier. She ran upstairs only to find herself face to face with machines... how... how did that bastard do this!?
Robots?! How on Earth...
no subject
None of them seemed to be attacking yet, having not been attacked themselves. It seemed the commotion they were causing primarily occurred from their initial entrance and their jerky motions knocking over objects.
Meanwhile, Mao gathered a bright, green energy in his hand, forcing it hotter and brighter than it would normally be. Once he got it to an amount he was good with, he slammed his hand onto the symbol below and forced the energy into the seal, rather than letting it explode as he was used to doing.
no subject
The other thing however... the distraction made by those robots made her unable to realize what Mao had been doing. She couldn't have reacted fast enough to prevent his magic from destroying hers. Granted, this was in part because she didn't think he could have done it so she let her attention drop, but in any case, the deed was done.
Her magical circle was broken and the magical barrier dissipated, letting the demon free.
She quickly summoned her guns, trying to trap Mao again with her shackles. She couldn't do much beyond that, summoning Cole indoors would be a disaster... not to mention her other spells...
no subject
The moment Mao noticed the guns, he pulled out his sword, charging forward to try to get in close. She seemed to primarily use ranged attacks... If his calculations were correct, that meant her defense was probably low.
no subject
For once, she lost her cool. She was indoors, trapped between a crazed demon with a sword and a bunch of robots. Deciding that the metal scraps were less dangerous, she jumped backwards, intending on sprinting past them, not even stopping to notice if the shackles connected or not.
no subject
She may have slowed him down, but he could get out of this damn building easily enough. He'd just let the Specimen Abductors he'd fixed up grab her for him.
no subject
The only thing she did notice was that the two robots finally decided to make their move and come after her. She was still trapped in the middle of the stairs and being pushed back to the basement was out of the question. Three guns appeared near her and fired off plain old regular bullets at one of the machines.
no subject
Meanwhile, after a few moments of struggling, Mao was finally able to break free. He rolled his wrist a few times and started to advance on Yuuri, a rather unsettling grin on his face. "Heheh... You might as well give up now! If you come quietly, I might be convinced to let you off with a dissection and a few rockets."
no subject
With the advancing robots and the deranged demon in the back, Yuuri was trapped. She would have shrugged away his talks of dissections and experimentation as fake boasts, but with Mao's current actions... yes, she was quickly loosing her own confidence here.
Tossing aside all caution and care, she decided that this house didn't suit her needs anymore. She brought her hands close together and a small energy triangle formed between them.
"IL TRIANGOLO!"
An explosion of multiple triangle shaped energy shot out of her, slamming into anything living or not in the room as the foundation started to shake.
no subject
Dammit...! Her super move?!
no subject
There was also another reason for her speed; she knew exactly what would happen if she used this type of spell indoors... the building was already starting to shake and rumble; it wouldn't last very long.
She had no sympathies for the kid, he already knew too much after all. He should simply die under the rubble.

The only thing that could have given her away was the twisted grin slowly forming on her face. That little bastard deserved to die anyway, him getting in the way of her revenge with his disturbing ways. She kept watching both hoping he died and yet hoping he survived so she could pound his head in once more. Ahh, that thought was so nice.
It would only be later that she would notice her Soul Gem and how dark it was becoming...
