Matters of Business [active]
Character(s): Saïx and Demyx
Content: A long overdue conversation
Setting: ???
Time: Afternoon
Overall, the Organization had less of a presence in the castle than Saïx would like. But that was no reason that they couldn't continue as they would have had they had more presence. Unfortunately they couldn't do that without proper activity from all of their members. It was for that reason that he'd come to speak with Demyx. He'd noticed the particular lack of... activity from the Ninth, not that it was ever hard, and as long as he had control of the castle he meant to at least keep Demyx somewhat on task.
Regardless of difficult it happened to be.

...Buuuut apparently not.
Demyx had been playing his sitar in a place where he'd hoped no one would come bother him, but X-face had a way of finding people who didn't want to found. Usually him. So when unlucky number 7 rolled in, Demyx... well, ok, he didn't notice, but when he did he made a pretty undignified squeak that turned into an awkward laugh. "Uh... hi, sir. What's up?"

"Do you honestly need me to tell you that?" Saïx answered, letting his eyes flicker briefly to Demyx's sitar. True, even he would admit that while some amount of relaxation was permissible, there was a difference between that and what Demyx was currently doing. There was little room in the Organization for slackers, and Demyx was lucky that Saïx had left him to his own devices for as long as he had.

"If you have time to spare on questions, you have time to work."

"We need to know more about the people of the city. Consider it a sort of reconnaissance, if you must. I know you can least manage that much."

"I would hope so."

"Don't let me delay you."

Once Saïx was certain that Demyx wouldn't be returned, he turned and left as well. There was no sense remaining, when he still had other matters to tend to.
