Nous ne faisons que passer dans l'ombre sous la lumière [Active/Closed]

Character(s): Priere and Eleven
Content: Priere and Eleven have that talk about darkness and the org... org loving puppies of course!
Setting: Around Paixao for the moment
Time: Middle of the night
Warnings: None for the moment?

Ever since that man showed that letter on the message board, Priere hadn’t gotten a single full night sleep. This had to be a first, even in some of the hardest situations she always managed to sleep like a rock. Even the nightmares that plagued the city a few weeks back didn’t cut her sleep like this. At least they only made her wake up startled... not make her toss and turn for hours.

She didn’t really have any reasons to be so on edge though; she knew that this letter was lying! The worlds weren’t getting destroyed... her home was fine... After all, her brother had been here before! If her world had been destroyed, how could he have been brought here? And now he was home! It’s not like they could just send him back to float in space! It was all the proof she needed to know that her world, and thus the worlds of other were safe. So, why was it still eating her inside? Why hasn’t it shut up that little voice in the back of her head telling her everyone was gone?

“ARGH!”

She unceremoniously flipped the covers over, not caring that her outburst probably woke up the entire floor, and jumped out of bed. Not even bothering to change, she simply grabbed her coat and shoes before storming out the door. She found herself roaming the streets, no clear destination in mind. As long as it could clear her head, she didn’t really care.

"Oh, thank you!" the Doctor beamed. "Not only will it be a lovely occasion - a lovely blue occasion - but it'll be a good way of showing everyone holding us here that life will go on no matter what they do. Speaking of, would you like to go? I've been informed there will be cake, and if I have anything to say about it, it'll be a good one." What good was cake if it wasn't good cake at all? Not good, that's what.

"Oh, have you been busy? Busy's good. I always like keeping busy; staying still is boring." He gave a nod. "Oh, this place is brilliant. There's sort of an ominous, possible end-of-the-universe vibe I've been getting from it lately, but it's brilliant nonetheless. Literally. It sparkles! Never been to a sparkly city for this long before. Usually, I get a headache after awhile. Also, the architecture's amazing."
