Can you handle the consequence of your actions? [Active/Closed]
Character(s): Xemnas, Roxas. Much later Saïx, Axel, and Naminé.
Content: Not only is Roxas fueled by regaining his memories, but now after also finding out a certain something from Marluxia. Well, someone has to curve the rage of a peon... Clearly this is a job for the Superior.
Setting: ???
Time: Not horribly long after the above link, week 39
Warnings: Prob will be slow since Wolfie and I are on hiatus XDbut thread has been planned for about 5 months so when we do have time it should get places Um, fighting, violence, harassment of Nammers, effing up your friendships, Roxas getting slapped back into place... yeah. Typical Org drama.
The fragment of paper – old, wrinkled, and frayed around most of its edges – was barely held between three gloved fingers. Xemnas stared at it, time passing completely unnoticed to him. The rest of its words were gone, in the hands of the traitor – and for how long had they been there? For how long had Xemnas been without the rest? Even this fragment was nigh impossible to find again, hidden in the back of other reports, pressed tightly against another leaflet. His eyes slid away to look at his own journal, poised on an edge of the desk top, teetering. The whole desk was in disarray, drawers open, papers strewn about in his search for this one report.
His fingers curled in towards his palm, taking the fragment with them, crumpling it until it was just a small ball. He tightened his hand around it, the simple act his only show of emotion. He pocketed it, and then with a swift flick of the hand, he called up a portal of darkness, and exited the room, later to be found in a white corridor...

Leaning up against a wall, Axel stood still, obscured by the shadows, sure that he would pass by this way... Maybe there was still time to convince him not to do this...

"Axel." The blond's tone was flat.

"I'm going to beat him, and everything's going to go back to the way it's supposed to be!"

"Like you'd care! All you did was lie to me!" Roxas threw his fist down from his side, his face a contorted mix of pain and rage. "The only thing you ever cared about was yourself!"
With that, the Kingdom Key came to Roxas' right hand. Moments later, a second Kingdom Key appeared in his left.

As the keyblades were summoned, it was becoming quickly evident that there wasn't going to be any way to solve this rationally... that was seldom the case when it came to Organization business. "Don't do this, Roxas..."

"Get out of my way, Axel." The two Kingdom Keys shone bright, then were replaced by Oathkeeper and Oblivion in a flash of light.

He wasn't going to waste time. The sooner he made it to Xemnas, the sooser this would all be over.

"Yii-ahh!" he cried, calling up a wall of flams to surround him in a last ditch effort to put some distance back between them.

"Oof!" Axel was pushed backwards by the force, landing hard on the ground a few feet away. From this spot, he propped himself up on his elbows, rubbing at the corner of his mouth with a gloved hand. "That... wasn't half bad. Heh."

"Give it up, Axel."

Hoping to use the cover of the fire, he sprints around the outside of the wall, bursting through it eventually, both chakrams back in his hands this time as he propelled himself forward with a trail of fire behind him. "Burn, baby!!" he cried, hurling towards Roxas.

"Is that all you got?"
no subject
"Heh... Looks like... you win this round."

"Axel..."
How had it all come to this, Roxas asked himself. But even as the question formed in his mind, he already knew the answer.
Xemnas.

He steeled himself again, and put thoughts of his friend aside. If he was going to fight Xemnas, he couldn't be distracted...no matter what the distraction was.
"...Yeah. See ya..."
The blond started off down the featureless white hallway again, not even noticing that he'd used Axel's own parting greeting.

Finally, another black-coated figure could be seen at the end of one of the countless white corridors, the silver hair atop his form unmistakable.
"XEMNAS!" Without waiting for a reaction, or even stopping in his running, Roxas summoned both Oathkeeper and Oblivion. He held the Keyblades above his head, then slashed them toward the ground. Bright columns of pure white light exploded outward from the Keyblade Master's Nobody, as he launched himself with all the power he could muster right at the source of all his anger.
