All this hurt and anger, so many people scared or confused. Hearts full of rage, the post on the message board had said...

She missed the days of playing around, of innocence and laughter. Why did nothing ever stay good? Sooner or later, shadows crept back up. Perched on the edge of the fountain in the park, Tinkerbell sighed at her reflection in the water. If only there was something she could do or say to help...

"Huh?" Brought out of her reverie by the sudden voice, Tinkerbell looked over her shoulder at the girl that had approached. A number of things went through her head at that instant -- at how much more approachable children were than adults, that she was grateful Peter wasn't here to flirt with yet another girl, that...wait. Pretty?

Preening, she stood up and patted her hair into place, susceptible to flattery as always. "Ah ha, well, thank you. What are you doing out here, all by yourself?"
