All who wander may not be lost (But Austria probably is) (Active//Closed)

Character(s): Roderich and Alice
Content: Two visitors run into each other in Paixao and find something in common.
Setting: City of Paixao, somewhere (Yeah, I'm specific)
Time: Afternoon.
Warnings: None, I think.

The conversation with the gentleman, Iroh, had been very enlightening on his situation, although it didn't make him any more comfortable. This place was strange, and if he was understanding correctly, outside the city walls was even stranger. Of course, he wasn't exactly enthused about being stared at by the strange blonde people (really, it was unnerving, although he wouldn't show it. One must always keep appearances.)

He tucked his hands into his jacket pockets, looking around as he walked. He knew he would get lost sooner or later, and at least knowing some of his surroundings might help him later. There seemed to have been a snowstorm, somehow, before he arrived, although it had tapered off. Snow still surrounded the streets, coming up to his knees in places, his thoughts wandered as his body did in this strange place.

Ironic, this. He thought. It is almost Weihnachten in Wien...I wonder what the citizens are doing...

Alice sat quietly on a bench, her hands in her lap as she pondered the situation she found herself in. This place wasn't like Wonderland at all - there was no madness to be found here, only reason. Reason she could follow, at that (although she'd long known the rules of Wonderland). She stared at her hands blankly; just a few days ago, she'd gone on a mad sort of wander about the city, unable to remember much except her own name. That had gotten her more than a few strange looks, but the Londoner was more than used to those by now.

Shaking her head as though to shake away her current train of thoughts (she disliked trains, anyway), Alice looked up, her eyes sharp and bright in her pale face. Upon noticing another person without blond hair, the young woman watched him, wondering inwardly as to what all the near-uniformity of this place meant.
