Darkness in the Heart of the City [Active]
Character(s): Ansem and Terra
Content: A chance meeting between two people who should probably never meet
Setting: The streets of the city
Time: Mid-afternoon
Warnings: ...Ansem
The city was a fertile ground for the darkness. That much Ansem knew. But as fertile as it was he could hardly make something out of nothing. He needed people, and for that, he needed to walk the streets of the city. Surely there would be someone of interest beyond the citizens of the city (and he'd have to look into those as well, at a later date). For now, he'd look for those who belonged to other worlds. People who had been brought to a place nobody quite understood, who were feeling somewhat less than inclined to enjoy their stay.
Yes, that would do for now. Sooner or later he'd find someone worth his trouble. For now, he simply let himself drift through the throngs, noting hearts of particular interest as he went by. The rest would wait.

He shoved his hands into his pockets, and started walking down to street to one of the city's clothing shops, not really paying any mind to the people on the street at the moment.

And yet, he could hardly have ignored Terra. As soon as he drew near, the darkness he held within resonated with the darkness in Ansem. It was as if it had been - or could have been - a part of him. Something he hadn't known. It was familiar, even if he couldn't put a finger on it. There was something here that could be used. Perhaps even as a spare body, should he yet again require a host. But that was a last resort. For now, he would simply be... polite.
"Aren't you cold?" he asked simply. There wasn't much else he could say just yet.

"A bit," He replied tersely. The sooner he could get this conversation done with, the better.

He nodded at Terra's answer - he hadn't expected much else, truth be told. "Then by all means, don't let me keep you."

Terra turned away from the man, back to the path he had been taking. He was all to eager to get away from this man and the odd, unexplained feeling of uneasiness he brought.

"One last thing before you go. Might I have your name?"
no subject
"...Terra." He reluctantly replied after a moment.

"And I'm Ansem," he answered. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
