New Friends [Active]
Character(s): Flonne, Naminé, Xion, Yorda. Also includes Mao as a brief special guest!
Content: Yorda has invited several new friends over for a sleepover.
Setting: St. Destino hospital.
Time: Early evening to mid-morning, week 35
Warnings: Mao.
Urd had told her what to do, but Yorda was still a little nervous. She'd given her the make-up bag and showed her what to do with it, and dropped off a bit of clothing - a pretty purple dress, cute pink pajamas and a set of winter clothes - pointing out that most people slept in something other than what they wore every day - which, in turn, had led her to realize that she had yet to take Yorda shopping for new clothes and somewhere along the way, Yorda frankly got a little lost. But then, she normally did, and Urd's tirades rarely helped.
She'd also told her what to do in case any intruders (but really, Yorda knew she meant Mao) had shown up. Intruders were usually something to be feared, so why did Urd seem so gleeful at the prospect? Nevertheless, Yorda had hugged Urd gratefully and thanked her, and promised to make plans with her soon and tell her all about the party.
An hour or so later, Yorda stood, barefoot as usual, in her new dress - an apron covering it, as Urd had told her to be careful - and worked on carefully frosting the cupcakes Genie had taught her to make as she let dinner cool on the counter of the rather dreary hospital kitchen. She smiled to herself, her heart beating a little faster in rare excitement. She hoped the night would go well; now all she had to do was wait for the others to show up.

Luckily, the princess had washed up before leading the others on, and left a plate of the food she'd made out for Mao, along with soda and a note that the rest of the cupcakes could be his, if he liked, but he shouldn't eat too many at once lest he get sick again. She knew he liked sweets, even if he preferred cookies, and while she worried a little about leaving Mao to his own devices for a night, she was confident there wouldn't be any trouble.
