Trouble in Paradise [Completed]
Character(s): Urd, Genie
Content: Urd finally returns from the Pride Lands. Worst floor EVER.
Setting: Urd and Genie's house, M6
Time: Week 33, night
Warnings: ANGST?
Urd trudged up the steps to the house she shared with her sister, Genie and Aladdin, luckily lacking the fur she'd been bestowed with all day. As far as she was concerned, she'd never experience what it was like to be a meerkat ever again. Once was quite enough, thank you.
"I'm home," she called as she opened the door. Without stopping she went up the steps, down the hall and into her room, face planting on her bed with a listless flop. She didn't expect anyone to actually be home...and frankly, she wasn't sure what she would say to them if they had been. If she were human, she'd consider sleeping for the next two days.
As it was, she was going to need a lot of sake.

"I still think about what he did to me," she heard herself saying. Urd closed her eyes as she recalled the night Xemnas took her captive. "I was there, in Elysian Fields, thinking about you when he ambushed me. I fought with everything I had in me and he still got me." One hand went up to her arm, her head bowed. Her voice was quiet, filled with restrained anger and loathing. "I can remember how it felt when he injected me with Darkness. It burned, but I could take that pain and use it. But knowing he was using me as a pawn against the people I love..."
She broke off, shaking her head. "A day doesn't go by when I don't want to make him pay! You are one of the only people who even knows what he did to me!" She moved forward toward him, placing her hands on his chest, giving in to the need to touch him, her need for comfort. "I act like it doesn't bother me, but it still does, it always will. And if I'm not alone in feeling that...why wouldn't you tell me?"
