Content: Vyers gives Lamington the lowdown on Paixao
Setting: St. Destino
Time: Early Evening
Warnings: None

While Vyers enjoyed his wardrobe, there were many times he missed being able to wear his usual jacket around. Aside from a suit or some dress clothes, there was nothing that looked quite as good on him.

The ability to fly was quite nice as well.

He landed in front of the small church that led to the rest of the castle and stared up at it with a small sigh. Vyers still couldn't help but be a little disappointed that there wouldn't be anything to eat or drink for this, as he had come to enjoy that part of their meetings, but it couldn't be helped. That wasn't to say he wasn't thinking of asking for anything later, but he would keep quiet about it for now. There were more important things to discuss now.

Lamington's travel did not take long. Outside of the domes, there was open air. The use of his wings made the trip that much faster, and it took only a short while to arrive at the church.

That is not to say that the Seraph did not enjoy the view of the land as he passed over it. The white grass was unique, yet beautiful, and the sparkling lights that scattered through it with the breeze were a dazzling sight indeed.

"It is good to see you," he said as he landed.

"The location is fine," Lamington assured his friend. He stepped toward the doorway, but waited for Vyers to proceed through.

"You are more concerned with privacy than normal," the angel remarked. "What is it that has made you so worried?" While there wasn't much in his voice or his face that made his own concern for his friend apparent, the demon would be able to tell that Lamington was worried for him. They did not speak often, but the conversations they'd had during the events involving Flonne and Laharl should have made Lamington's more subtle intonations easier to pick up on for Vyers.

"I have heard of them, yes." Lamington followed his friend into the old church, feeling somewhat at odds to see the place so run-down. "However, I have learned very little about Paixao. Only that it seems able to draw in many, from many different worlds, and even different times. And it appears less than forgiving in its choices."

Lamington's thoughts turned to all the lions he'd seen on the journals, and the angel he'd had a conversation with. He was certain they were not the only ones to have to deal with such issues, and it pained him to know that there would almost definitely be more in the future. His sincerest wish was to find a way to bring an end to it.

The Seraph nodded. "I cannot say I like their methods," he said, eyes falling. The news of the strangeness of this place's design did not strike him as terribly as did the people who had been brought here against their will, and the torment that it was putting them through.

There were no questions he had that pressed for answers, however, so he silently waited for Krichevskoy to continue.

"You've been to these worlds?" Lamington asked. The kinds of places these "memory worlds" were would be important, if for no reason other than whose memories they were made from. The sorrow that one could experience, if something happened in such a world that they did not remember...
