In Times of Madness Comes the Most Insane [Active]
Character(s): The Mad Hatter, Open to Anyone
Content: A wild Hatter has appeared in Paixao, straight from the world of Wonderland!
Setting: Joutenheim Gates
Time: In the Afternoon
Warnings: Probably none, just the Hatter and his insanity
Run! Run! Keep running! As the Hatter almost ran past the line that was coming toward what looked like a gate, he couldn’t help but skid to a halt. The Hatter blinked, and looked around him, what happened to the Queen’s court? Better question, what happened to Wonderland?
The Mad Hatter looked around, was he lost, has his daily hallucinations gotten worse already? It must have been the twinkling of the tea that did this to him for sure. Better make sure he knows what’s going on, he pushed his way through the crowd, literally. The Mad Hatter spoke out, “One side! One side! Coming through, this is of great importance you know, make way!”
As the Hatter reached the podium, he straightened himself out, ignoring the other people who were clearly annoyed at him for pushing his way to the front. “Excuse me! There has clearly been mistake. You see, I am supposed to be back home. This however is not my-”
“What’s your name?”
“I am the Mad Hatter, now as I wa-”
“Welcome to Paixao, this is your journal, go ahead and go inside.”
The Mad Hatter was almost baffled for words, how very discourteous of this guy to just shove him a box and tell him to go off all willy nilly! “Well! I never!” Hatter huffed as he marched his way through the gates, “You all are very rude, and I’ll see to it that you get demoted at once!”
Of course, with complete disregard that these folks were non-responsive, the Hatter could only see that he had to find himself around here. Perhaps he just found another part of Wonderland he hasn’t explored yet, yes that must be it! After all, he has been stuck at that tea party for a long time, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Wonderland expanded itself on him. The Mad Hatter looked around, seeing the citizens around him were a bit different, for one thing they all seem to have the same hair color and eyes. Odd, but he just guessed that it was a new trend or something. At least the fashion seemed all the same.
“Now let’s see, if I were in a place that is unknown to me, what would I do?” The Mad Hatter asked himself as he scratched his chin. At the moment he shoved the box that was called a journal in his pocket. He wasn’t sure what to do with it for now, but he’s sure that it would be a good little setting to put his tea cup on. The Mad Hatter continued to stand there staring at the painted ceiling, wondering if the sky was real or the paint just decided to come to life on him. If so, would other things come to life on there, like say if a walrus was in the sky, would it fall?
These thoughts couldn’t escape the Hatter as he stood there in wonder, in the middle of the sidewalk, just outside the gate. It was no wonder that the moment he got into Paixao, he would immediately become distracted by everything around him. Though perhaps it wasn’t he that was distracted, but the things that he was looking upon that were distracting him instead. The Mad Hatter glared at the dome ceiling, “How dare you distract me, I have to find my way home you know.”

She had just begun her wandering when she could have sworn there was a familiar voice that rang through her ears. Shrugging it off though, the little girl continued to wander about the city and poked here and there at this and that when she found herself stumbling and letting out a gasp as she collided with something — or rather someone — who was just standing about in the way! How terribly rude!
Having gathered herself from almost stumbling over, her hands flattened her dress and her eyes narrowed as she whirled on her heels to look up at whomever it was that she’d hit into but the anger faded and was soon replaced with shock.
“Oh you must be kidding!” she cried out as she recognized the man before her, after all with that hat, who would mistake him?

Well this was a surprise indeed. The Hatter could absolutely not believe that she back, wasn’t she in the courtroom? He could have sworn she was there, talking to his friends the Hare and Doormouse. “Wh-What are you doing here?!” The Mad Hatter asked her, putting his hands on his hips promptly.

“What are you doing here?!” She threw her hands up somewhat childishly at seeing him. “Why aren’t you in Wonderland?!”
Back in Wonderland where your silly madness would be appreciated and would perhaps make a lot more sense there.

The Mad Hatter folded his arms on the spot, though he was a bit confused on that last remark, “What? You mean this isn’t Wonderland?” He looked all around him. He thought it looked different, had he really ran so fast that he went off the map of wonderland?
“Then what is this? Is this perhaps, another part of the Looking Glass land that I have not ventured?” The Hatter asked, who gave an utmost perplexed look, he honestly had no idea where he was. He just knew the place was called Pie-show or whatever.
