she's rockin' that valley down below [ ACTIVE ]
Character(s): Kakyuu, OPEN
Content: Another new arrival!
Setting: Niflheim Gate & Surrounding area
Time: Mid-morning?
Warnings: Pfft. Hah!
The last thing she remembered was the small girl finding her. It certainly was an odd sight to finally wake up, and be ushered through a gate after being offered a -- was it some sort of communication device? What strange cultures this world practiced...
The girl seemed a little dumbstruck, walking forward cautiously into this strange new world, drinking in the sights around her. Were those buildings up ahead? Perhaps they could direct her towards Sailormoon... how odd, that she couldn't feel the energy of the Silver Crystal.
Ah! There was someone. Perhaps she could ask this person...

"Excuse me -- "

"Many graces for your service," a deep voice said half-halfheartedly to the gate keeper. Once the hand on the shoulder began guiding Kakyuu to walk, the voice was lowered even more in a whisper that said, "They offer a scant of help to us, m'lady."
It seemed that there was a new welcome party in Paixao.

To business.
"I apologize, it seems like I've just arrived. I don't mean to be a burden but... do you suppose you could tell me where I may find the Princess?
no subject
"Your princess may not be here."
It was the simple truth, although it might be harder to swallow coming for a six-foot-something bunny-woman.

He turned his attention to Reddas next, an eyebrow arching inquisitively. "I didn't picture you the sort to play the welcoming committee." No doubt this was all part of some greater plan of his. And before he had managed to get someone other than himself wrapped up in it, too. Fate was a fickle mistress.

Balthier came into the picture shortly after, as per Reddas' expectations. He never was too far behind the bunny-like Viera, leading him to piece together all sorts of misadventures between the both of him in his imagination. At the same time, he would never vocalize things like that. He was smarter than that.
"M'lady, you are in good company," Reddas offered to Kakyuu. Reddas approached Balthier and shrugged, "A mistaken man I must be. I had thought you wanted no part in gathering an insurgency?"

"No, she's not my princess, exactly..." she started to explain, nodding off into the distance, "but yours, perhaps. I'm looking for the future Queen, Serenity," she paused, a sudden eerie chill passing over her. "You... do know whom I'm referring to...?" the princess asked, her eyes bright -- hopeful.
no subject
"I do not," Fran answered, shaking her head.
True, she might have simply overlooked such a mention, but her answer was the same regardless.
argh, crappy tag. sorry. .-.
"My princess, you say. Afraid I only know of one princess, and she's already become a queen. I'm as much in the dark as my partner here," Balthier replied, unable to hide his amusement.

He looked to Balthier and Fran as though recognizing the danger of the place. It was only made for scattering lost souls from every corner of the universe and every other universe and sprinkling them on the beaches of this strange destination. "If you desire, may we court you and brief the details of Paixao to you from the accounts of visiting citizens?"
Sorry for late / short tag, phone posting aint the greatest apparently...

"It is not the world you know," she answered with a nod. "It is a place beyond."
