A wandering lion [Active]
Character(s): Squall and Sora
Content: This isn't the Leon you're looking for
Setting: Jogo de Crianca
Time: Mid-day
Warnings: None!
Not for the first time since he'd arrived in Paixao, Squall found himself wandering. It made everything easier to think about, and there was plenty of that do be done. He'd been alone for... he couldn't even remember how long it had been since he'd arrived, and that was almost what worried him the most. What was going on back at home? Were people right that no real time passed between now and then? Or was it just a pleasant lie to comfort those stuck here?
More to the point, did it have anything to with the fact that no one else in his world stayed for any real length of time? Or was he just lucky?
Questions and more questions. It seemed like that was what his life had become lately, and he sighed to himself as he turned into the park. There just... wasn't anything he could answer about this place.

Though, today was appeareantly the Heartless' day off, funny, the one time he had been looking for them he couldn't even find a Shadow. Oh well, maybe Sora could find some lunch and go see if Riku wanted to spar.
He was about to head off to the nearest cafe when he spotted a familiar face that seemed deep in contemplation.
"Leon!"

He wasn't looking to have to try and explain things again.
"It's Squall."
'Leon' was someone else entirely.

Though now that Sora got a good look at him, he noticed that there was something different about him, his hair was shorter and he actually looked a bit younger than he remembered Leon being, like he was around Riku's age. Maybe he was from before Radiant Garden had fallen?
"Oh, sorry, I though you were a friend of mine." Sora replied sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

"You aren't the first person," Squall answered with a shrug.
Did he really look this much like this 'Leon' guy?

"I'm not?" Weren't Aerith and Cloud here? Maybe they ran into him. Or maybe there were other people from Radiant Garden here.
"Oh, I'm Sora, by the way," He may as well introduce himself, "So what were you doing out here, anyway?"
no subject
"Thinking, mostly."
Thinking and letting his feet take him where they would. He'd stayed inside long enough as it was.
Short tag ;_;

"Nothing important."
Not quite the truth, but close enough, at least by Squall's thinking.

Sora was probably standing there in a somewhat awkward silence for a bit too long, hopefully Squall hadn't noticed it.

It wasn't something he really had the answer to, unfortunately.
"Is there something I can do for you?"
