Yes, this again. (Active/Open)
Character(s): Sara Sidle, Open
Content: Sara finds herself in paixao for the third. damn. time.
Setting: Near Vanaheim.
Time: Same time as this
Warnings: Sara's pissed at the 'anonymous' poster on her journal. There may be inappropriate words for Disney characters.
Sara sighed as she sat on a bench near the newest gate, back against the fake planter and legs sprawled across the length of the seat. She had already posted her 'happiness' to be back in this place on her journal, and now she was in a verbal spar with at least one person, and friendly conversations with a few others. It amazed her, every time, to see what faces would pop up in this city. Considering she wasn't phased anymore, the talking lion and the other Disney character didn't phase her, she just smiled and moved on, reminding herself to respond to them later.
Although, that anonymous asshat can shut up. She thought, making a face at her journal as she read his responses, ignoring the looks from passerby. She was glad she had been wearing a sweater when she showed up, considering these new rules that had sprouted up. She sighed and went back to her responses, wondering who would go wandering by next.

This time, Sara was Grace's height rather than several feet smaller. Grace paused in her walk. She'd taken to getting to know some of the city dwellers and she could forget the kindness this woman had shown to her. Knowing Sara wouldn't recognize her (though it was always possible she'd notice similarities in facial structure and voice), Grace approached cautiously.
"You look like you've heard about the bullshit new law they've placed on us recently." Which was true. Sara looked about as pissed off as Grace had been when she'd heard.

When she heard the voice, she looked over, putting the journal back at her side. For some reason, she had been expecting someone different than the woman looking at her. The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn't place it.
"Yeah, that's just one thing bothering me, this time."

"You'd be joining the rest of us." She tried to remember just what had happened when they'd first met. Sara had helped Grace find a place to stay and explained the currency. What else...?
"Let me guess, other citizens are giving you other bullshit to contend with?"
no subject
"You could say that." She didn't know if she could consider Marluxia a citizen, or a visitor to the city, but she wasn't going to admit that to someone she just met.

"Whoever runs this joint seems to like making things tough for the rest of us. Even the ones who live here are tough nuts."
But Grace was one of the toughest.
She paused, sizing the other woman up. "You look a little less lost than most people hanging around these gates."
no subject
"Let's just say that I've taken a few trips around this block." She sighed. Hearing herself say that was worse than just thinking it.
no subject
"A few trips around?" Grace's eyebrows moved upwards, but she made no other notice of the word choice. "So, you know the place well."
no subject
"Yeah, this is my third time here. I wonder if I'm going to win a prize for the most entries in different gates."
no subject
The declaration of third time got Grace's eyebrows to shoot upwards. "Lucky third time?" Or unlucky, depending on how it was looked at.
no subject
She laughed. "Unlucky third time. I keep going home just to get hauled away again. I'd actually like to stick around sometime."
no subject
"Hope you've had better luck with the meerkat than I did."
He was certainly a character. She wondered vaguely what he'd be like around her now, instead of when she was in her Avatar form. He'd been tiny then. And annoying.
