I Got All My Sisters With Me [Inactive]
Character(s): Urd, Neirenn, Yorda, maybe Genie
Content: Neirenn joins Urd's growing household. Free Yorda-sitter!
Setting: Urd's house in zone M6.
Time: Week 22
Warnings: None.
Yorda was a handful under any circumstances. She asked too many questions and her purity and innocence got her into dangerous situations more often than not. It wasn't really her fault, of course -- after being locked away for most of her life, she couldn't help being who she was. But when the unstable and corrupt of Paixao started pouring in at the current rate, Urd knew she needed help.
Neirenn had already shown that she cared for Yorda, had proven her intelligence and protectiveness over various interactions on the network. Urd trusted the girl to do right by Yorda. It only made sense to bring in such an ally. And if having another person in the house distracted Urd from missing her sisters, well, that was okay too.
Now she sat on the stoop of her magically summoned house with Yorda, waiting for Neirenn. To an outsider, it might have appeared that the luminescent girl was the older of the two, as Urd had still not found a way to return to her original, full-figured form. Her child-like appearance made the fact that she was drinking from a bottle of sake a little shocking.

She did want to look after Yorda. The girl had told Neirenn about how she'd lived her life locked in a castle, and that was certainly no way to learn what people should and should not be avoided. But well, Neirenn had been grateful for Urd's offer for her own sake as well. And being able to learn more about the magic they used was definitely a plus.
It occurred to her that she had never actually met the woman off of the network--so Neirenn really couldn't stop herself from staring when she saw the little girl with the bottle that smelled quite definitely of alcohol. "Ah--hello," she said, readjusting her satchel (it was mainly books in there). Urd had said something about returning to her 'original form.' "You're... Urd?"

Yorda was so absorbed in watching Urd that she hadn't even noticed Neirenn approaching, and jumped slightly when the other girl spoke. Nevertheless, she smiled brightly at Neirenn, happy to see her again.

“Why don’t you come inside?” He offered and opened the door fully. “Urd mentioned we’d be having a guest so I baked cookies. Hope you like shortbread! They’re fresh from the oven too.” The genie glanced over at Yorda and Urd to encourage them to follow. In the process he noticed the bottle of sake in Urd’s hands and gasped. Loudly. “You can’t drink that out here!” Genie exclaimed and reached to take the bottle away from her. “You’re sending out the wrong message! What if someone sees you? What would the neighbours think?”

Her expression changed from gentle amusement to irritation as soon as Genie started in on her drinking. Scowling (which in this form, translated more as pouting than anything), she clutched the bottle close in defiance. "You mean the same neighbors who complained about someone's party music during our late night slumber parties?" she grumbled, standing up from the steps. Nevertheless, she put the cap on the bottle and picked up her glass to head inside.

She couldn't help but laugh a little when he tried grabbing the spirits and Urd's indignant reaction. "Somehow, I don't think neighbors who complain to you two are entirely sensible," she said. Between a goddess and a Genie, Neirenn doubted it was a good idea to upset them.
Well, she didn't have a reason to hang around out here. Neirenn followed the two into the house, smiling at Yorda. "So how are you doing these days?" she asked the girl.

"I am well," she replied, following the other girl into the house. "I have been staying inside with Urd." No doubt Yorda would have gone out more often, but Urd seemed to want her nearby, at least for now.

He held the door open for them to enter the house, thoughts wandering to whether or not he should send their neighbours a fruit basket in apology for his actions. Fruitcakes were not as appreciated as they used to be, at least from what he had learned from Hades when he had attempted to gift the god one.
[ooc: I'm so sorry for the late response! I thought I had tracked this thread DX!]

"We have your room all ready, Neirenn. If you don't like the decorations, I'm sure our resident interior decorator can change it for you in a snap." She grinned at Genie, knowing he enjoyed decorating...well, anything, really. "Do you have any questions? Concerns?"
